Trapped
Lost
No way out
Fighting to escape
Wings get crushed
Wings break
Wings don't work
Grabbing the ledge
Beginning to climb
Slowly step by step
Towards the top
Losing footing
Falling to the bottom
Again
And again
And again
Over and over
Looking up
Just about to give up
A voice calls
"Don't give up
Keep trying!"
Giving it a go one last time
Making it up the cliff
Looking down
To see the voice owner
Seeing no one
Frowning and confused
Turning forward
To freedom and hopefully
Happiness.
