as dixie enters the room, avani glances upward, eyebrows scrunching in confusion.

"charli didn't wanna join?" she asked.

dixie replied with a smirk. "shes knocked out. heard her talking to lucci til late."

"lucci is here?" addison gasped.

"no, you weirdo. they were on facetime the whole time."

all three girls looked at each other. "do you think lucci is into charli?" addison was the first to break the silence.

"duh," avani snickered. "this kinda reminds me of how her and summer started to be honest. except that summer wasn't straight."

"lucci is so hot." dixie sighed dreamily.

"right? chase could never." avani hollered. addison gasped before joining in on dixie's laughter.

charli entered the room with tired eyes. she drags herself until her body reaches the couch, eyes closing softly. "i'm so tired."

"maybe if you didn't stay up all night with your girlfriend." dixie teased.

"shut up," charli said, sounding annoyed. "we're just friends guys. we just have a lot in common and she makes me laugh. last time i checked, i was still into chase. i've never actually thought about being with a girl in that way."

dixie and avani threw their hands in surrender. "we're just teasing."

"well...does it bother you that she flirts with you?" addison asked, genuinely curious.

"nope!" charli was talking but her eyes were closed. "it makes me smile. makes me feel special."

they were gonna bombard charli with more questions when they noticed her facial muscles relax and a guttural snore come out.

dixie giggled. "wish i had someone that made me feel special."
