"Mommy please get up. Please mommy." Riley cried as she was rubbing Nicki's face. Seeing that Nicki didn't move Riley ran and got Nick's phone. She unlocked the phone and scrolled until she found Meeks number.
She FaceTime meek and waited for him to answer. "Daddy come quick, pplease." Riley said as tears streamed down her face.
"Riley what's going on? Where is Nicki?" Meek asked concerned.
" She laying in her closet and it's blood everywhere. She won't get up daddy." Riley said crying harder. Meek jumped up and called OMelly from his other phone.
"Riley what happened? I need you to go back in the closet and lock the door. Stay by mommy side." Meek said.
"Okay daddy. Please don't hang up , I scared." Riley said while running back to Nicki's closet.
"I'm not going to hang up babygirl I promise, hurry and lock the door. Tell me everything what happened." Meek said while getting in his car.
"Daddy i in the closet now. Me and mommy was downstairs and two big scary man came into the house. They kick the door down and had big guns. Mommy told me to run, i didnt wanna leave her but she told me to run and hide in my favorite place."
"And what else happened baby?"
"When i got to the closet i lock the door. I heard mommy screaming and i think she was fighting the bad mans. Then i heard 2 big booms. After the big booms mama came to the closet but her leg was bleeding."
Meek
My mind is in a million places right now as I'm listening to Riley tell me what happened and seeing her cry. All I can think about is how scared my baby is and if Nicki going to pull through. I know exactly who the fuck did this and on everything he going to get what's coming for him.
"Riley daddy is so sorry that I wasn't there to protect yall. Mommy going to be okay and we gonna get those bad guys." I said while looking in the camera and turning on the street where our house is.
"DADDY NO. Please don't get them, them said if you , uncle Melly, Tak, and the chasers come, they will hurt yall." She said crying.
"They not going to hurt us princess I promise okay. I love you with my whole heart you and mommy, I gotta keep yall safe."
"I love you too daddy. I hear something, is that you or uncle Melly?"
"It's me babygirl." I said while hanging up.
Walking into the house i seen the two dead bodies of the men. One had a headshot and the other one a shot to the chest. Riley came running downstairs and she jumped straight into my arms. She broke down crying. I just held her and cried with her.
"It's going to be okay Riley. I'm so sorry daddy let this happen. I'm so sorry." I said while holding her.
"Yo i swear we should've been offed them niggas the first chance we got." Omelly said.
"Here get Riley and take her out to the truck. I'm going to get Nicki." Meek said while giving Riley to Omelly.
I watched Omelly and Riley walk out and then I walked up stairs. When I got to Nicki my heart shattered in a million pieces. My wife the love of my life was laying there and it was my fault. I bent down and felt her neck, she still had a pulse so I picked her up bridal style and ran out to the truck.
I got in and Omelly sped off. Still holding Nicki I looked down at her and more tears begin to fall. "Please pull through Onika I can't do this shit without you. I need you but most importantly Riley need you. We all need you baby." I said while rubbing her face and holding her hand.
We finally got to the hospital and I jumped and ran in while holding Nicki. "I NEED HELP MY WIFE HAS BEEN SHOT, PLEASE HELP ME." I said yelling. The nurses and doctor came right away and took her from. They put her on the stretcher and begin cpr. "WE GOT A PULSE" one of the nurses yelled. They ran off to the back with her.
I slid down the wall in the hallway and silently cried. I said a quick prayer "God please let Onika pull through. I can't live without her and I need her. But most importantly god Riley need her and our family need her. I can't do this alone. Amen." I said.
"Amen. She's going to be okay son, God is going to make a way." I heard my mom say.
"Ma when you got here? I said while getting up.
"I got here not too long ago. Omelly called me and I got here soon as I could." She said concerned. I hugged her so tight and continued to cry.
"Ma i just hope she pull through. I need her. I failed her and Riley ma. I let these punk ass niggas hurt her." I said through tears.
"It's going to be okay son. She's going to make it." Kathy said while rubbing Meeks back and hugging him.
