"Teru-nii" Kou called out to his big brother, who was waiting for him outside his classroom.

Teru smiled and waved his hand at his little brother as Kou ran up to him, the two boys always walked home together after a day at school.

"You ready Kou?" Teru asked looking at his brother, Teru quickly noticed the short blonde was a little anxious, so he put his hand up to Kou's shoulder in a comforting manner.

"Oh um Teru-nii I was hoping that you could go ahead this time, I have something to do before I go home" Kou said a bit anxious playing with his fingers.

"Oh" Teru said sounding a bit surprised, this was the first time his brother had something to do after school, was it a hangout with his friends?, or does he have someone he likes?, So many questions played in the older Minamoto's head, but one thing was for sure, Kou was growing up fast.

"Ok, but you're going to have to tell me what you're up to" Teru said sternly at the shorter blonde boy.

Kou visibly flinched and started thinking of a good alibi, so his brother somehow doesn't end up exorcising Hanako or Mitsuba.

Teru looked at his little brother while he flinched, it looked like he was thinking about something, he quickly smiled to himself before returning to his stern expression, unnoticed by Kou, to be honest Teru just likes to mess with his little brother.

"Um I'm going to clean the girls bathroom..." Kou said mentally face palming himself, was that really the best he could think of, really Kou, he thought to himself.

Teru scrunched up his face, that statement just made his suspicion grow six-fold.

"Kou there's something you're not telling me" Teru looked down at his little brother.

Kou sighed, at this point he was never gonna get to go with Yashiro and the others.

"You remember, Hanako?" Kou asked quietly looking at his brother.

"Yeah" Teru answered back.

"Well we're kind of friends now, but I don't completely trust him yet, I was also reunited with my childhood friend Mitsuba, who died in an accident last year, and Yashiro-senpai is also gonna be there, we're going to hang out after cleaning the girls bathroom where Hanako stays" Kou finished.

"Kou, No!... No.7 is a dangerous apartiton, you can't just go making friends with him" Teru said clearly worried and a bit irritated at his little brother.

"Teru-nii, he's a good apartiton I can feel it, and if he wanted to do something to me, he would have done it ages ago" Kou said rather boldly, now with a rush of emotions.

"Just think of it as a learning experience on exorcism, not all ghosts are bad, some are just sad and misunderstood" Kou finally said calming down, his thoughts captured by a certain raspberry haired boy.

Teru gave it a light thought, well it is him that wanted Kou to exorcise Hanako in the first place, and Kou was never wrong in choosing friends before.

"Fine you could go, but be careful and don't come home too late" Teru half-heartedly said.

"Really Teru-nii!, Arigato!" Kou said practically bursting with happiness as he hugged his older brother.

"Yeah, yeah just go home before dinner, you know I can't cook" Teru admitted ruffling his younger brothers silky hair.

"Hai!, When I come home I'm gonna cook you a feast" Kou said running off happily to the direction of the said bathroom.

Teru sighed, I guess it can't be helped, he thought as he made his way out the campus.

When he reached the gate he was met by the sight of the Student Council Vice President confessing to Aoi, one of his underclassmen, on a little school hill underneath a Sakura tree.

"Aoi-san I like you, please go out with me!" The brunette said, his beautiful crispy locks swaying in the wind, as his lovestruck hazelnut eyes dazzled, even though concealed by square glasses, while baby pink petals danced in the wind, making him look breathtaking.

Teru couldn't help but stop at the scene.

"I'll give you a seven" the lavender haired girl said, as she smiled sweetly at Akane.

Akane looked like he was about to cry and soon enough he did, as crystal clear droplets fell on the lush grass.

Teru was about to run towards them until he heard Akane speak.

"A seven that was better than before!" Akane cried happily.

"A seven over one hundred" Aoi said cheekily.

"I'm still happy" the brunette said a smile painting his now tear stained pretty face.

"I'll totally make you like me Aoi-san" he said determined, pumping his fist in the air.

"I'd like to see you try Akane-kun, see you tommorow" Aoi said as she waved goodbye, passing Teru as she smiled at him.

A little while later Akane started walking towards the gate, to be met by Teru.

"Walk home with me" was the only thing Teru said, he looked at Akane who was a bit confused, but nonetheless complied.

They were neighbors to be exact, but they don't usually contact each other.

"So Mr. Exorcist, where's the little one?" Akane asked raising a brow pertaining to Kou.

"We he's not here obviously" Teru said as he chuckled a little, and truth be told, it sounded like an angelic melody to anyone's ears, as he also rolled his eyes in a playful manner.

And for some reason Akane felt really something giddy inside him.

"Hey can I stay at your place a bit?" Teru asked stealing Akane's glasses, and playing with them for a while.

"Hey give it back! I can see them again" Akane said creeped out looking at some mokkie in the school sidewalk.

"I was the one who gave these to you in the first place, plus aren't you one of them yourself" Teru said wearing the glasses a little longer.

Akane sort of got tricked into being a school mystery, by school mystery No.1, and Teru gave him those glasses to help him not see any supernatural, an effect of him being an Apartiton.

"Yeah but still" Akane said as he puffed up his cheeks.

"I'll give them back if you let me crash at your place for a while" Teru said with a slight smirk.

"Fine ok just give them back!" Akane said irritated.

Not every a second after saying that Teru softly lifted up Akane's chin, and put the glasses gently on the brunette, tucking in a strand of coffee hair behind his ear, his hands feeling the shorter boys' milky skin in the process.

If anyone noticed it, they would have thought the two were a couple.

But Akane was unphased by it considering his love for Aoi.

Or was he?
