Part 14 Jealous

Bella's POV.

At this very morning, I just got startled. Spencer transferred in my section and accidentally sat on the empty chair beside me. Every girls in the class were staring at him, with his lovely face. It was really awkward for me, but I finally found a solution to make my self comfortable. I tried ignoring to look at him, as if Ethan was the sitting beside me or literally nobody.
After class I went out side to ignore him. Good thing that he was sleeping so it would be easy for me to sneak away.
"Hey... are you okay?" Eren asked when he saw me.
"Hmmm..." this was all I could mutter as I nodded.
"I heard that the canteen has some new stuff. Wanna come with me?" He asked. But I was too tired, so I refused him. I walked away so that I could refill my water alone, no one bothering me, and to livid in peace.
"Hey... Bella..." Eren said reaching out for me, before Spencer showed up. He grabbed Eren's hand and prepared a fist to punch him.
"Eren right!" Spencer asked almost punching him. I was so disappointed so I stopped him to continue it. "Spencer what are you doing!" I warned him for the first time not to ever do it again.
"Bella I..." he said regretting what he just did earlier. I definitely ignored him and went to leave with Eren. But before I could do that, Spencer pulled my hand away from Eren's.
"Don't you think this is to much?" Spencer asked me. "What is?" I asked him back, not looking back at him.
"I know that you know how Eren likes you, and I just confessed my feelings too. But why are you ignoring me like we never met? Look you can't just ignore me and be with that idiot!" He said. I looked back to look at him.
"Ohh! Do you really wanna know?" I said pulling my hand back. "I hate you Spencer! All my life, I've liked you. I tried so hard to forget about my past, just for you. But I'm just a fool choosing you!" I added. I can see how mad he was at himself. But things work the way it is. My past was so horrible, a memory that had been stuck in me for year. Ethan was my first love, but when he left and never came back, I got scared of loving again. Even though we have never dated, I think he only sees me as a younger sister.
Spencer let my hand go. So I ran away from the both of them as I couldn't hold back my tears, I know... I'm the weakest person. I headed straight to the restroom, good thing that it was empty so that I could cry all I want. Now that Olivia is listening to the piano that Kyle was playing, while Stella is pissing Clark, I had to convince myself from not talking to anyone.

At class

Spencer was trying to ask Bella if maybe she could come with him at the studio, but then this Eren guy showed up and invited her to the school canteen again to buy ice cream. Spencer was so angry, he started clenching his fist to punch him but he couldn't. Bella agreed to come with him, so that she could ignore Spencer.
"BELLA!" Spencer called out with an angry tone.
"If you want ice cream I'll buy it for you... you don't have to go with this jerk!" Spencer said, slamming his hand from the table. Bella felt sorry for him. But remembering what she just saw last night with his ex-girlfriend and accepting a box from someone else, made herself not to feel sorry anymore.
"I'll go there myself." She exclaimed and left the room happily with Eren.
Is she really that happy being around him? Am I just overthinking things? I thought you were more happy when your with me, but it seems like now, even without me, you'd still be happy. Happier even if my presence is going to be an issue. Then, I will stay away. Spencer that, stopping his heart from aching.

The other day in the afternoon

Spencer was sleeping inside their classroom as Olivia went over to him and knocked on his table.
"Spencer, wake up! Class is over." Olivia said.
"Class is over!? Where's Bella?" Spencer asked. "She went off first again!?" He added. I decided not to disturb her, but yet I still think about her. He thought.
"That, Spencer, you... what's going on with you and Bella? I saw her sitting by herself with her eyes red." Olivia said, she was so worried about her friend.
"Is she being bullied? Is she alone?" Spencer asked as he stood up from his school table. Olivia answered that Bella was alone, it made Spencer even happier, now that he knows she's not with Eren.
"Ever since you accepted a lunch box from a girl, you two had been..." Olivia said, but before she could continue Spencer interrupted her.
"Lunch box?" He asked. "When did I accept a lunch bow from someone else?"
"The morning when you missed class..." Olivia got nervous now that Spencer was so fierce.
"I didn't accept it! Who told you that?!" He said angrily at Olivia.
"I don't know everyone was saying it!" She said as she was so scared and she was even shaking.

She must've heard it from someone else. That's why she's mad at me. Spencer thought. He ran towards the school canteen and looked for Bella. He really needed to explain all of those misunderstanding. Spencer ran everywhere at there school campus.

I haven't talked with Spencer for a few days now... this feeling is the worst. Bella thought. She had been sitting there at the bench for a while now, thinking about Spencer this whole time. Did I go overboard? But thinking about him accepting that lunch box and about his ex, I feel so angry, but even so I like him.

Minutes past, Bella was walking at the hall, she saw Stella eavesdropping at someone on the staircase. She took a step closer to them and asked, "what're you guys doing?" The two were startled to death. They thought it was a teacher, but still they have to hide what they saw. Stella and Olivia can't let Bella see what they saw. So they tried changing the topic and tried dragging her somewhere else. Now that they both know that Spencer has a crush on Bella, and Bella likes him back too. But Bella knew them too well, she knows if they were hiding something or not. Bella walked past them, and they started shivering, they knew that the boys would get mad at them. As Bella walked passed them she saw this familiar face, it was a blonde haired girl. Wait!... is that Spencer's ex girlfriend?
What a horrible scene for me to see. She murmured to her mind, but Stella and Olivia can tell that she was deeply hurt.
This is wrong... she went on the wrong timing... if only she heard what Spencer had said about her earlier, she wouldn't end up this way. Stella thought. She was worried of her friend, but right now isn't the best time for them to explain.
Bella's eyes were getting watery, she couldn't stop it so ran over the restroom, so did the two girls followed to comfort her.
"Is there something you're not telling is?" Olivia asked in concern.
"Why didn't you tell us you liked him? If you did you have been together now." Stella added. Bella stopped crying and explained them that she was regretting things, she was regretting every memory she had with Spencer.
"I tried stopping my feelings for him so that I wouldn't have to hide it from you guys. But I don't know why I can't." Bella said.
"We'll help you know matter what..." Olivia said "yeah we're best friends after all." Stella added. They both hugged Bella in peace.

Minutes later...
Bella and Spencer was sitting next to each other, they weren't staring at each other nor talking to each other.
But Bella took a peak at him. He isn't sleeping? Coulda it be that his making a love letter for his ex girlfriend? She thought, she was overthinking things now that his ex is back and transferred to their school. Bella had a lot of enemies recently, they kept on blaming her for what had happened between Spencer and Curtney. The other girls thought that maybe she was the reason that Spencer broke up with her. But they all got the wrong thought.
       "Don't listen to them Bella, you know that's not true." Olivia comforted. Bella smiles at them to show that she's fine, but in her thought she was thinking why does this people harsh on their words when they don't know the anything. Bella stood up and took her books with her, Stella and Olivia wondered where she was going, she r replied to them that she was going to the library to have peace.
      "Sorry I can't come with you, Kyle just invited me to listen to his piano play." Olivia explained.
       "Me neither... Clark told me to help him writing a new lyric." Stella couldn't come as well, now that they have to busy themselves.
       "It's okay... I can always go alone..." Bella said and smiled at them and took a step out of their room.
