"Bella! You really of yourself as a princess huh." A very unfamiliar voice said behind her.
As she turned to see who it was, she saw a familiar face from the party. Could it be Curtney? She asked herself.
"I don't think we've met before, but why are you blocking my way?" She asked in a cool way.
"Do you know who she is? How dare you talk to her like that! Curtney's backup said. "Yeah! You're way to rule less." The other girl added.
"I don't care who she is!" Bella said trying to piss them off.
"Good! Quite a character!" Curtney said and smirked.
"I don't think could still be so arrogant after you know who she is!" The backup girl said.
Why are this people talking nonsense? She thought.
"Listen up! She was Spencer's ex girlfriend, Curtney Miles!" The other girl said and took a step forward. As the other student's heard that Curtney was the ex girlfriend they started making some noise.
"Oh... so you're Spencer's EX?" Bella said pissing them off.
"How dare you offend the young miss!!!" The backup said getting mad at Bella.
"You're his EX, which means you have have nothing to do him anymore right." Bella said playing along with them. Now that she knew they were irritated, things are getting more interesting to her. "In that case, who are you to insult me? Are you here to tell people that Spencer doesn't love you anymore to tell people that he doesn't love you anymore?" She asked putting her arms together and smirked.
"Don't you dare!" Curtney said and grinned her teeth.
"Then I'm breaking the laws!" The other girl said and grabbed the chair behind her to slam it on Bella's head.
"They've gone to far! Hey Bella watch out!" The girl from one of Bella's class shouted. Bella looked back to see what it was and she saw a chair getting close to her.
Damn it! Bella thought, covering herself by her hands. Luckily a drone pass by , so instead of her getting hit the drone was or was it on purpose that someone wanted to save her.
"Bella I agree with you!" A familiar voice called out. As Bella heard the voice, her heart started beating fast.
Spencer! Bella thought. As Spencer entered the room other girls started to giggle.
"I wasn't supposed to get involved in your girls quarrel..." Spencer stopped and looked at Chutney. "But as a student in this school, Courtney you gathered a group of followers to bully her..." he continued.
"Spencer...I..." Curtney said as her voice began to break.
"Bella was right she has done nothing wrong to you. You shouldn't have thrown harsh words to her. You should apologize!" Spencer said in a call way as always, and looked at Corner with his sharp eyes.
After all this days, Bella didn't think he would stood up for her. She didn't expect this side of him.
"I heard she turned you down, but still you won't give up? Curtney said pointing out to Bella.
"Do I still have to ask for your permission to date someone?" He said letting those words that Curtney just to him out of his mind.
"Well... no... but why her? Out of all these girls in the school, why her?" Curtney said, like she couldn't believe Spencer didn't pick her. To answer Curtney's question properly, Spencer has thought for a plan to make it e clearer. Spencer held Bella's hand which made her blush.
"She's the perfect person I have ever met. She sings lovely which is what I want. Even if we fight sometimes, still, she supports me." Spencer said looking at Bella's brown eyes. Those words stunned her.
"You!... I can't stand this!" Curtney said in an grumpy tone as she left the room.
"Wait for us young miss!" So did the other girls followed.
He was actually cool back there. Bella's thought. "Why are you smiling at me like that?" She asked curiously looking at Spencer.
"Phew... I've finally held your hand for too long." Spencer said scratching his hair at the back. When Bella noticed that he was holding her hand so she tried pulling it away. Bella let go of his hand and was too embarrassed to even say a word. They went to the canteen to buy something. Bella bought the new ice cream that was being sold to their school canteen. She handed one of them to Spencer
"Back there...thank you...Erm...for saving me." Bella can't say her sentence properly, I think it's because, after for so long this was the second time she's thanking a person that she really cares about.
" Yeah... Was I cool back there?" Spencer ask in a proud tone. He thinks that maybe it would impress her. Bella glared at him with her blushing face. "Hey, Hey... just kidding you know." He added
"Listen...Uhmm, about the lunch box...you know I didn't receive it..." Spencer said as they walking at the hallway to their room.
"Ohh... So your saying I'm listening to some baseless rumors?" She said and crossed her arms around chest.
"No, no... It's not like that...well I'm just making things clear." He said sweating himself just to explain everything to her.
After class/ Bella's POV
This afternoon class has ended, I saw Spencer walking to me.
"Yo. What're you thinking?" He asked
"Erm... I'm going to a café right now, wanna come?" I asked, after all he saved me earlier so this is my way of paying him back.
"Phew... it's really my lucky day today!" He said. He sounded like his teasing me but I didn't really care.
"Why'd you say so?" I asked him.
"I've held you for so long without being kicked and got an invitation of going with you to the cafe." He said to me while putting both of his hands inside his pocket.
"Well... thank you... again." I thanked him again as things went awkward."
"Don't mention it. I really hate peoples being unreasonable, that's why I broke up with her." He said to me. In the first place I really thought that he was a play boy, but... I didn't he has good attention with girls.
"But..." I muttered. "No more buts." He interrupted.
"Alright then, let's leave?" I asked.
"Sorry but I have something to do..." he said and stopped as he leaned closer. "You've fallen for me! Don't deny it." He added and smirked. I was silent for that very moment, I didn't know what to say. Butterflies filled my head.
"Be true to yourself, starting from taking your glasses off." He said as he took my glasses and hid it from his pocket.
