"A recessive Hybrid..." Prem answered.

Copter stared blankly at him as if trying to figure out what he meant by the words he just said.

Prem sighed as he remembered his conversation with Boun days ago.

Flashback

"So, what's Copter's real class system?" Prem ask while looking at Boun who was busy looking at the microscope reviewing Copter's blood components and genetic composition.

Boun look up to meet the gaze of his mate who was sitting in front of him. They are spending time at Boun's laboratory after Copter got discharge from the hospital.

"he's a recessive." Boun answered while jotting down notes on his ipad.

Prem frowned "recessive like me?" He asks and Boun just nod his head

"but he isn't a recessive alpha." Boun replied browsing his ipad to look for the information he found out the other day. He sits beside Prem and showed images of the genetic composition.

"Look here, all these years you thought that you were an omega because that's what you've been told based on the exams taken by the doctors. However, they missed to review further, because your genes have recessive component, which suppresses your dominant genes from developing. In your case, you have a small genetic component of Omega genes, which is what the doctor sees when you were 12 years old. However, majority of your genetic component are Alpha – the development is delayed but it is there. Therefore, your System class should have been Alpha." Boun explained while looking at Prem's reaction.

"Then how can you explain the scent coming from me?" Prem asks while staring at Boun with wide eyes.

Boun chuckles as he pinches Prem's cheeks "you have a small percentage of omega genes in you, hence the scent but now it is no longer that strong." He replied

"but what about Copter? You said he is recessive. If that is the case, why is it all these times he appeared as Beta?" Prem asks while staring at Boun.

Boun sighed as he shakes his head "He looks ordinary but he's not. Remember he's showing capabilities of Both Alpha and Omega when he turned 15. Sometimes you adapt to what people tells you. Copter always hear that he is a beta since he was young thus, his mental state also affected his development." He answered and clenched his fist.

"So, he is recessive what?" Prem asks curious to know Copter's real condition. He watches over Copter for the longest time – growing up through his teenage years, so he wanted to know.

Boun stares at Prem's face and holds his hand "He's a recessive Hybrid. His Alpha and Omega genes are surprisingly the same percentage. his case is 1 out of 1000 population." He answered.

Prem bit his lower lip "how come he has this case? His brothers are all Alphas." He replied

Boun shrug his shoulders "Things can happen with genetics you know? It could be because the last pregnancy was unplanned." He replied making Prem frowned when he overheard that story when they were in the facility.

"Is that a good or bad thing?" Prem asks, worry clearly written over his usual calm state.

Boun shake his head "I am also not sure; I haven't really encountered something like this. His recessive genes are showing progression. Which means he may experience getting extremes of both classes as time goes by." He replied

Prem nods his head while thinking about what he just heard. He gasped when he remembered something important. "Phi Boun, if he can experience both extremes then Can heat and Rut happen at the same time?" he asks
