a rainy day in new york; zdh

"i really enjoyed today zach."

"me too."

he smiled brightly and grasped my hand as we walked through the busy streets of new york. zach was back from tour and decided to visit me in new york for two weeks for some 'us time'.

we had just been bowling and got ice cream and now we were walking home to my apartment.

"i hate not seeing you for long periods of time."

he frowned and i sighed, stopping abruptly causing zach to stumble.

"babe? what are you doing?"

i pulled him towards me and kissed him.

"zach i hate it as much as you do, but until i finish school i can't move to la, and your family is in la so you can't move here and it just sucks."

i pouted and he chuckled, pecking my lips.

"i know it sucks but we can get through it, we have for the past two years, and we're stronger than ever."

i sighed and nodded, leaning into his hand that had cupped my cheek.

"i love you yn."

"i love you too zach."

we smiled at each other but the moment was ruined when a loud sound of thunder came from the sky. we widened our eyes and looked at each other.

"ah shit."

we went to start running home but when the rain poured zach stopped moving.

"zach what are you doing? let's go home!"

he shook his head and walked towards me, taking my hands and pulling me towards his body. he leaned down to my ear and kissed there, while whispering in my ear.

"i've always wanted to dance in the rain."

he pulled away and smirked as he started twirling around, the rain making his white tshirt see through.

i shook my head and laughed, joining him. we were getting dirty looks from the people that walked by but we didn't care. we were two reckless teenagers and we're in love.

zach walked up to me and placed his hands on my cheeks and kissed me slowly.

"i'm gonna make you my wife one day."

"not if i make you my husband first."

he chuckled and kissed me again.

"i love your ass yn."

"i love your ass too zach."
