The Party

"???...Jumin?" Huh? Since when did I have his number? Wait no, why is he calling me now? Of all days?

Saeyoung looks at me questionly. I gesture him for us to sit down at the arcade seats available, then I answer his call.

"Hello... Jumin?"

"?? You seem unsure of yourself. Yes, this is Jumin Han, you did save my number correct?" He said in a well business like tone. "Um, Yeah it's just I find it unexpected for you to call me." I said a little nervously. I never expect I would had other contact with the other mystic messenger characters. Well except for Saeran who is living with us and Vanderwood who is working with the Choi twins.

"Yes, I have been busy with work lately. How are you and Saeyoung?"

"Good, just good we are kinda on a date..." I said embarrassingly, I don't know how to keep this up....

"Ah, is that so then I won't take too much of your time. It's about upcoming party, have you been checking your emails lately?" He said straight to the point.

"Eh? Party?" This is sudden, I was unaware of this!

"??? Don't tell me you forgot? we are about to have a party for the next 6 days."

Now that I think about it, the main heroine of the story is taking care of Rika's job and became a party planner!

"Anyways I have another person I think would be good for the event, a business friend of my father...." Jumin started telling me the details about the person he plans to invite to the party.

"Sure, why not?" I said still unsure for what I should do afterward.

"Good, I tell him to contact you, enjoy your date." He ended the call first. I ended the call as well and as for my friend, I ended her call as well I'll talk to her later.

"Who was it?" Saeyoung said as he uses stuff longcat tilting his head in question too.

"It's Jumin... He it's related to the party coming next week..." I said.

"Okay"

"PARTY."

"Huh? yeah?" Saeyoung looks at me confused. Does he still not get it?!

"Have there been other guests?" I ask swirling my icecream around. Saeyoung looks at me confused but then slowly realizes something in a slow motion manner. "Did you?"

"I don't know did I?"

I tapped to my phone as we both look at my emails. There have been guests but there I haven't respond to any of them yet!

Home.....

"We're home!" both of us say at the same time.

"Welcome home." Saeran said not moving his eyes away from the book he was reading. As soon as MC takes off her shoes off she walks quickly to the room and shuts the door.

"What just happen? Did you guys got into a fight?" Saeran looks the door MC went into worried.

I put my arm over his shoulder. "No, we have to end our date early due to certain circumstances." I said a little slump, ever since she looked through her email just now she became troubled.

It bothers me though... MC.... She was fine a little while ago unlike the last few days. Did something happened? I don't understand I want to understand her.... Just when I thought we are getting back closer to one another suddenly there was this distance that make me think I have yet to understand her again...
