Chapter 29 - The big fight

You were laughing with a nerdy alien by the bar, he was talking about how he loved Midgard so much, when he found out you were from Midgard he couldn't keep questions to himself, which you adored. He was small thing about as high as your waist, he wore big round glasses and a colourful midgardian suit. He was asking about the function of a rubber duck when you saw the Grandmaster enter the room with a familiar blonde in his capture chair.

"Hey, James?" You stop mid sentence and he looks up. "I'll talk to you later ok? I just need to deal with something," you hug the small alien and wave goodbye, flattening out your dress you walk over confidently. Your suspicions were right when Thor turned his head and spotted you.

"Y/n!" You smile and place down your drink to hug him.

"Thor! I'm so glad you're alive," he smiles before realising.

"Where's your chair? Where's Loki?" He turns his head to the best of his ability and see Loki, he shouts for Loki. Loki quickly comes over.

"You're alive?" Loki asks bewildered.

"Yes of course! Now both of you get me out this chair!" You shrug.

"Sorry, Thor, no can do, only Grandmaster can do that,"

"What are you whispering about?" You yelp and disappear. The Grandmaster laughs at your disappearance. "Works every-time!" You grumble and reveal yourself behind Thor's chair as Loki explains. A tap on your shoulder made you turn around.

"Yes?" You were faced with a tall man with short brown hair, he had deep chocolate eyes and a sharp jaw. "Y-yes?" You stutter, he chuckles. Oh gods that chuckle...

"I'm Liam,"

"H-hi," you couldn't help but drool at the god like person before you. "What can I do for y-you?"

"My friend James said you're from Earth?" You nod shyly and look behind to see James holding his thumbs up. "I was wondering if you can tell me about your home planet?" He says smoothly, oh god you could melt right there.

"O-one second... I'll meet you by the bar," as Liam walks away you turn to see all three boys staring at you, Thor's chair was even turned around.

"That's my girl!" The Grandmaster exclaims.

"Y/n, tell him what he does to you I'll do to him!" Thor growls. You giggle and nod, running after the man from before you find him in the crowd waiting patiently with James.

"Hey there," James smiles supportingly as Liam pats the seat next to him. "So I'm g-guessing you want to know about earth?" Liam nods before adding.

"And why they have women as beautiful as you there," you were practically drooling at this point. "I'm sorry, that might have been a little too corny,"you shake your head.

"No, that was- that was adorable," you lean on your hand as you get lost in his eyes.

You sat with the Grandmaster to your right and Liam was to your left, Loki was at the far end with Cookie to his right. Happy days. As the Grandmaster watched the fight, Liam handed you a glass of that blue sweet alcohol you loved. Leaning on Liams shoulder with his arm around you, you happily watch Thor fight as the Hulks hammer gets lodged into the wall, Thor takes this time to yank it out and barrel Hulk across the arena.

"Strike one," Liam whispered... well it was more of a question to be honest, he's been trying connect Sakaar things with earthly things. He looks to you questioningly for feedback on his comment.

"Not exactly but close enough," you kiss him on the cheek and continue watching Thor walk towards Hulk. You knew what he was saying, he reached his hand out for Hulk to take only for him to be swung around like a rag doll Loki style.
