My Love (Part 2) - Chieftain Archimedes x Caedia

This is part 2 of the previous oneshot chapter which told the story of the first Aztec Chieftess and how the Chieftain loved her very much, even after her death. In this chapter, the Aztec Chieftain has another chance with love and has made a vow to not lose his second wife like how he lost his beloved... 

And now onto the oneshot.

Many months after the death of his beloved Noire, the Chieftain was ruling over his Empire while raising his infant son Rhea. Noire's death still affected him deeply, making the Chieftain believe he would never love another woman again for fear of loosing her too. His friends/other leaders of the Alliance tried to help in an attempt for the Chieftain to cope with his wife's death and move on, but the Chieftain continued to grieve. So they left him alone on the matter since there was nothing else they could do.

But the Gods above had different plans for the Aztec ruler himself, and fate itself brought another maiden to the Aztec Empire. But unlike the Chieftain's first encounter, it was different since the maiden was captured by the patrol group believing that she was an intruder. The patrol brought her back to the Aztec city of gold known as El Dorado, where she was put in a large golden cage in the town square for everyone to see. 

"LET ME OUT!" The maiden shouted as she shook the cage bars frantically, only to no avail as those who watched laughed. "We'll let Chieftain decide what to do with her." An Aztec guard said to his buddy as the maiden gave up at her attempts to escape. "Hopefully he'll consider using her as a human sacrifice," Another Aztec guard said, "We haven't had any good ones to spill their blood on the temple steps in a while."

The maiden, known as Caedia, froze as her eyes widened in horror. "Human sacrifice?! How crazy are these Aztec people?! I have to escape somehow!" Caedia thought to herself as she frantically looked around in her cage for something that she could possibly use. She spotted a small pin laying on the cage floor and picked it up. "Hopefully this works..." Caedia thought as she used the pin on the cage lock, before it successfully opened. Carefully, she quietly opened the cage door and snuck up behind one of the Aztec guards. Quickly thinking fast, Caedia attacked the guard from behind and knocked him out, taking his weapon before his buddy could react and proceeding to knock him out too. "She's escaped!" A voice from another guard cried out before Caedia took off running in the direction towards the forest to make her escape.

The sound of an Aztec battle cry rang out as Caedia ran for it. Caedia continued to run as she hopped over fallen tree trunks and spotted the beach in the distance where her boat was at. But before she could go any further a large pink female lioness pounced and tackled Caedia to the ground. Caedia gasped in terror with her eyes wide as the lioness growled aggressively while keeping her pinned to the ground. "Let her go Rose Quartz." The voice of Chieftain Archimedes commanded before the lioness got off her, allowing Caedia to get up and see she was surrounded by Aztec guards and the Aztec Chieftain riding a white lion with a pink mane.
