the two of you were currently walking down the streets in songpa district. the cityscape of tall buildings and bustling streets had always fantasized you. the sky was getting darker, nighttime approaching. but that didn't stop the city night life.

ignoring his remark, you hurried to the old man tending the stand. before you ordered, you asked jaebum if he wanted one. he nodded his head.

"i'd like two, please," you said, and the old man began putting the treats into paper bags.

"that'll be 7000 won, young lady," the old man said, handing you the bag. you handed him the money, and thanked him.

you found a bench, which conveniently was by the seokchon lake park, and faced the beautiful lake. the two of you sat down, and began eating your food.

"i think we should talk about us, jaebum," you said, looking down at your almost gone taiyaki. "today, when irene and jinyoung announced that they were dating, i wanted to say something as well, but we aren't technically under the whole dating label." you were rambling on as jaebum sat in silence, watching you.

"like, after everything happened, you know, with us, we should come to some type of te-"

you stopped rambling, and looked at him. the full moon was shining behind him, and the warm breeze in the air was perfect. he looked at you with starry eyes, showing that he was genuine with this confession

"i-i," you stuttered, since the confession wasn't expected.

"i know this isn't romantic, and a very shitty confession, but i like you, y/n. i really do, and i want to take one more step forward with you. so please, be my girlfriend." jaebum was gently caressing your hand. no signs of the monster last night was to be seen in this moment.

you suddenly felt the urge to lean in and give him a light kiss on the lips, which he responded too. you smiled, looking at him in the eyes.
