Storm was walking around the flat in Sherlock's dark purple dress shirt and black sweatpants. She was making a coffee for John and a tea for herself. After the events of yesterday she kept wondering who Phil was. Obviously he was her older brother but why now? Why now did he pop up in her life? She knew her husband meant well and had did an amazing thing by bringing her brother into her life, the eldest brother. She was just... Puzzled. John was typing away on his laptop and Sherlock was out getting some more things for the baby. The upstairs bedroom was turning into the baby's nursey and Sherlock and John were making it possible along with help from Lestrade. Luckily, all that was needed was the rest of the furniture. "Storm?" John asked.
Storm looked over at John and she said "Yes?"
"How are you feeling?" John asked.
Storm shrugged her shoulders and she said "Yesterday kind of... Caught me off guard"
John nodded his head and he said "That's fairly understandable you just found out about a long lost brother you never had"
"Yeah but now I worry" Storm said as she brought John his coffee. John took it and he asked "What do you mean?"
"Well now that Phil is in London, that might give Moriarty an advantage and do harm" Storm said as she sat down in Sherlock's chair.
John chuckled and he said "I doubt that that would happen if anything Phil could do bodily harm onto Moriarty"
Storm smirked as she took a sip from her tea. She thought more and more about her brother. What did he like? What didn't he like? His hobbies? Does he have a wife? Does she have nieces or nephews? His favorite type of music? And more importantly; did he approve of Sherlock? That meer thought of Phil not approving of Sherlock dug into her heart and her mind. Sure she hadn't known him long, in fact they barely even knew eachother. But she still seeked his approval. Then, both Storm and John looked up as they heard the noise of laughter coming up the stairs. They looked out and they saw Sherlock and Phil coming up the stairs with baby furniture. Storm stood up and she gave John a confused look. Then John looked back and he said "Uh Sherlock?"
"Mm?" Sherlock answered.
"Where do you want this?" Phil asked in his American accent.
"Upstairs" Sherlock said. Then Phil walked up the stairs with the baby furniture. Storm looked at Sherlock and she said "He's here"
"Yep" Sherlock said as he put the swingset down. He stood straight up and said "He wanted to help out with setting the baby furniture"
Storm ran her fingers through her hair and she said "At least me and him can bond"
"He's been talking about it" Sherlock said. "Go and talk to him" he added.
Storm looked at John, who nodded his head in agreement. Storm sighed, then she made her way up the stairs. Phil was putting the crib together, working intentively on it when he heard Storm walking up the stairs. She leaned against the doorframe and she looked on as she said "Lovely thing you're doing"
Phil looked up and met Storm's gaze. "Setting up your nephew's crib" she added.
Phil looked at the crib and he said in his American accent "Yeah well it's the least I can do, making up for lost time. Lost years"
Storm smiled and she placed her hand on her belly. "What do you know about me?" Storm asked.
Phil continued to work on the crib and he said "I know you're 6 months pregnant with a baby boy, you're only 24 years old, you're married to a high functioning sociopath, you're loyal and that's about as much as I know"
Storm chuckled and she said "Well that'll change"
Phil smirked and he said "I would love to get to know each other, baby sis"
"There's just one thing I want to know" Storm said.
Phil looked at her and he asked "What?"
"Do you approve of my marrying Sherlock?" Storm asked.
Phil looked up at his baby sister and he said "I see how he treats you. I see the love and the burning passion in his eyes for you, and honeslty if you married someone else I wouldn't approve. But I'm glad you married Sherlock"
"So that's a yes?" Storm asked.
Phil chuckled and he said "Yes it is"
Storm smiled and that began a beautiful brother/sister relationship that would last for years.
