(This chapter deals with anxiety so this is a warning)

The rest of my first day at school was pretty uneventful, and so was the first few weeks into school. I had been gathering bits and pieces of information about the school and the hero course students. Bakugou and I hung out at lunch together, and he is still angry at an unbeknownst thing for some reason, but otherwise, we get along just fine. I still hung out with Shinso, but he doesn't like talking for too long.

But it didn't take long for people to assume that Bakugou and I were dating, I mean sure we hang out a lot at lunch but still! I ended up tracing back to where the rumor might have originated. As it turns out, it was a girl in the hero course named Mina Ashido. I knew about her quirk and how it functioned from Bakugou. Secreting acid, that's an interesting quirk when used, properly, I thought to myself. She seemed like a nice girl at first glance, but I couldn't be too careful. However, we did end up sparking a conversation.

"So are you Mina Ashido?"

"Yes, I am! It's nice to meet you...?"

"(First name)"

"No last name?"

Then I gave her the spiel about my dead parents.

"OMG, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to..."

"It's ok. I'm used to it. I wanted to talk about the rumors about Bakugou and me..."

"That's where I remember you. You're always hanging out with our angry Pomeranian! He's usually not one to warm up to people from what I've seen. Are you two dating?"

"Uh...no we're just friends."

"Have you ever dated anyone before?"

"No, I'm just not ready for that, I guess. That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. Did you start the rumor about me and Bakugou dating?"

"No, of course not! That wouldn't be very Plus Ultra, would it?"

"No, I guess it wouldn't."

She was very kind it was nothing compared to Shigaraki, but I could never go against his wishes even if I wanted to. I had to remember my mission, infiltrate U.A, find information, report. If I don't then I don't know what will happen to me. I could be killed, or Shigaraki could disintegrate me. My whole body just like that. After that thought, the world felt different, dark, and slow. My thoughts gathered into one big stormy rain cloud, and I broke into a cold sweat. My eyes faced the ceiling. Ashido was there too, standing above me, asking for help. Then everything went dark.

"Hey, (your name)? (Your name)! Someone help! She's fainted!"

Her voice faded out then it was silent, and dark. Just me alone.

"Where am I? Hello? Anyone?"

I heard two muffled voices in the distance. I walked towards them, and I saw a door that looked like the one at the bar, maybe it was the bar? I peeked through the doorway to see what was going on. Rather than a face, there was a blue silhouette and a purple silhouette. The blue one spoke

"Why did you bring a child? I told you not to you don't pick up trash off the street."

"(Preferred pronoun) could be useful, trust me."

"How so?"

"I know you're here, come out."

I stood still checking to see if they were talking to me. Then a brown silhouette came from behind me, peeking through the door as well. The new silhouette walked a few steps and stood in place in front of the other two. This scenery, this is when I first met the League of Villains when I was 12.

"(Your name), this is Tomura Shigaraki, our leader and my friend. You will take orders from him for now on. Ok?"

I remember this part all too well. At the time, I didn't want to speak to him myself, so I just wrote a message to him. The blue figure looked at its hand.

"So, this is your quirk? Kurogiri, I'm not sure how this is useful, please explain before I throw (preferred pronoun) out."

After that, I hid behind Kurogiri as a child would to their parent. I think of Kurogiri as a refuge, a safe space, a dwelling. He is the one person I can go to and be safe.

"You wanted a spy, right? Well, here (preferred pronoun) is/are." Kurogiri spoke

I peeked through the door a bit more, but everything got hazy, the silhouettes disappeared, and there was light once again. It was so bright that my eyes needed to adjust for a minute. I looked out before me, and I saw a white blanket on top of me and white curtains.

A strange voice called in the distance

"Oh my, it looks like you're awake!"

"Where am I?" I questioned as I looked at the scenery that I placed in

A short, elderly lady in a white outfit came from my bedside.

"You're at U.A., dear, you're in the nurse's office. My name is Recovery Girl."

"Why am I here, Recovery Girl?" I asked

"You passed out in the hallway, dear."

"Oh, right."

"I'll need to do a check-up on you before you get back to class."

"Um, ok, then."

What's a check-up? I thought

"Have you been feeling nauseous or anything out of the ordinary lately?"

"Um, no, not really."

"I'm going to take your temperature now, ok?"

"My temperature?"

She looked back at me with an odd expression on her face. She didn't say anything, though. Then she took a stick-like thing and wrapped it in plastic.

"Open your mouth, please."

"Sure..."

Then she stuck the wrapped stick thing into my mouth and under my tongue. I squirmed a little at the feeling. The stick beeped, and she took it out of my mouth.

"Normal temperature...hmm.."

Then she wrote something on paper on the clipboard and continued.

"Can you please stand on this scale, please?"

"Yeah"

We continued with the check-up, and then we sat down for a minute to talk.

"Your check-up came out normal, so I'm wondering why you passed out." She stated, "Did anything scare or provoke some anxiety in you?"

"What is anxiety?" I asked

"Dearie, anxiety is when a person is afraid or scared that something bad will happen to them or someone they care about." She said in a calming tone

I don't want to say anything about Shigaraki or Kurogiri, but is that why I feel this way?

"Not anything in particular." I lied

She paused for a minute before writing on a piece of paper and preparing a bottle of something.

"Well, I won't keep you here for long. I'm sure you're friends are waiting for you outside."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, and I'm giving you this."

She handed me the pink slip and a bottle of medication with it.

"The slip is your excuse from class, and the bottle is, so you don't pass out again. Only take it when you feel dizzy or light-headed, and swallow it with water." She added

"Alright then," I said as I got up to leave

"The door is on your left and then go straight from there." She called

I couldn't help thinking about the weird dream I had.  Was it a mistake? To join the League? I mean, I have food and water and clothes on my back. I don't have room to complain. Right? But there are many good people. I don't want to hurt everyone. But, Shigaraki is only after All Might, so it should be fine. Right?
