(Yes, I used the title from Steven Universe get over it)

Also, this chapter has some stranger danger vibes in it. So this is a warning,  I don't promote such actions, if a stranger comes up to you, walk away immediately and tell an adult or the police.

Hello? Anyone? Why am I still here? Can't I have a normal life? Why am I alone?

Those thoughts haunted me my whole life until I met him.

I lived on the streets, in alleyways living off of vending machine snacks until I was 12 before he walked up to me. At first, when I saw him, he looked like nothing I had ever seen before. He was dark, wavy, and weird with strips of yellow that were supposed to be eyes, and a metal brace around his neck.

"Hello, my name is Kurogiri. How are you today?"

I hesitated for a moment, in my years of street living I've been screwed over tons of times before, but, something about his presence was inviting.

"I'm fine. My name is (Your name)."

"That's lovely to hear. Say, does your quirk match such a beautiful name?"

"It's nothing special. Besides, why do you want to know?"

"Where I come from every quirk is special, my friend and I need people with special quirks. Can you show me yours?"

When he told me that I hesitated, but he seemed like he would dispose of me if I didn't do anything. So, I walked over to the wall and started using my quirk to write. He stared at my hand that I was writing on, when I finished, I pointed to the wall on the opposite side of the one I was writing on.

It said, "Thank You," in my messy 12-year old handwriting.

He didn't have a mouth. I couldn't tell if he was impressed or not.

"You do have a lovely quirk I must say. It's the kind of quirk my friend and I were looking for." Kurogiri complemented

"Thanks... I guess..."

"(Your name) how would you like to help my friend and me?"

"That depends on what I'm helping with," I said curiously

"You, my child, are helping the League of Villains take down All Might."

When he said that, he seemed excited and eager for me to join. I weighed the options in my head. I could join this League of Villains and probably enter a lifetime of servitude to them, but I'd be provided for, I would have food, and shelter, and water, but that's assuming they are at least a little merciful. Or I could say no and walk away. But I would have to go back to being homeless and scraping for food and money, or he would kill me since he is a villain and wouldn't want any suspicion on him.

"I would be happy to join, Kurogiri.

Maybe I was crazy for joining, but I would rather be with villains rather than on the streets looking for scraps having to dig out of the garbage for food.

As soon as I said those words, he opened this purple warp thing out of nowhere, and on the other side, there was hope for me.

LoV hideout

"So, that's the plan? I asked, "I infiltrate U.A. as a student and just figure out some stuff?"

"Yes, do you have a problem with it?" Shigaraki retorted

"No, it's just I feel like I could do more than just be a messenger."

"(your name)" Kurogiri warned me

"So, you want to be on the front lines?" Shigaraki asked menacingly with his gritting voice

His stare was dead on like he was out to rid me of the world.

"Well, maybe not that."

"DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD WE WORK OUT HERE TO MAKE OUR PERFECT WORLD WITHOUT ALL THESE HEROES! HUH?! DO YOU?!"

Shigaraki screamed as he stood up immediately and knocked over the barstool. He started scratching his neck in stress.

"HUH!? ANSWER ME!!!" He yelled again

"Yes, I know how hard you work. I'm sorry." I apologized

I stood perfectly still as the fear instilled itself in me. I shouldn't have said anything. It wasn't worth it getting in trouble for a little promotion.

"Remember we found you off the street...we can put you back there..."

"Tomura!" Kurogiri snapped

"It's fine Kurogiri I know my place," I assured him

"Good...now let us see about you getting into U.A."

Shigaraki said getting back on track.

"Well, obviously, you're not getting into the hero course, and you can't sneak in, the security is too good. Perhaps you could get into the General Studies course. It's our best bet." He said

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Yes, we need to get you signed up for the entrance exam. How does that sound?" Kurogiri said trying to lighten the mood

"Great." I agreed

I'm sorry this chapter is very short, but I promise the chapters to come will be longer than this.
