The sun is high when we reached our first clue and destination of our new spirit hunting adventure

"Ahh you guys smell that! The fresh smell of wondering souls and death"
I look at Alex with a weird glance and roll my eyes at Rachel
"You'll get used to her saying stuff like this"
"I have a feeling I won't......ever"
"We're here... Skull island"
"Oh wow totally scary that's totally not the most generic haunted island name I've ever heard"
Alex gives Rachel an annoyed look while turning and walking away on the deck
"So about what happened yesterday...
"Yea I was gonna ask if you wanted to talk about it but I didn't want to pressure you..
"Can we talk about this in the room?"
"Yea sure"
We walk to Rachel's room and she closes and locks the door.
"So yesterday huh?"
"Yea um"
I'm so nervous what am I supposed to say to her? Hey I know that your chosen by hades himself to be possessed by a demon wanna date?
Coming out of my thoughts I notice that she moves us to the bed where we could sit down I'm guessing
"Hey um I know this all seems weird or what not but I'm glad your here"

"So what do you have to show us?"
"Well you know how you were joking about this place being named skull island?"
I nodded yes
"Well apparently this place is filled with bones everywhere and there are constant souls wondering around trying to possess a fresh body so they can get off the island"
"So which your saying is we can't get on the island"
"Well me and you can since we have a bond but max can't and the crew definitely can't"
"Well can't we make like a temporary barrier or something for her?"
"Yes that may work, alright I'll get to working on the barrier for her, you guys get the equipment ready"
I nod my head, soon me and max are waiting on a life boat with the required gear to go on this adventure
"Ok you guys ready?"
I release the boat from the rope holding it up and begin rowing to the island
"Alright max your gonna wanna drink this"
Max takes the drink and glups it down in one go
"Ughh what was that?"
"Well it was a mix of demon blood, crow dust, and some milk"
Max begins dry heaving and sweating furiously
"Um are you sure you did the spell right?"
"Hopefully"
"Hopefully?!?"
"We're about to touch land this hopefully should work"
As the boat touches land I see countless souls swarming the island. One soul takes a look at me and Alex and immediately steers clear of us. Another takes a look at max and begins to approach her, I get my powers ready incase I have to blow this spirit out of here. It takes one sniff of her and flies away
"Well I guess that answers our question if it works or not"
We exit the boat and look at the massive forest in front of us
"Well adventure awaits us"
