"Mom! Wait!" I scream.

I'm running as fast as I can.

I'm barefoot. The rocks and the logs on the ground hurt my feet. It's hard keeping up with her like this.

But finally a sense of relief hits me as I step on the hot sand.

She's till running and not looking at me.

"Mum please! Just stop!" I plead.

But still no answer.

She finally reaches the water and dives in.

And just like that, she was gone.

Everything starts to fade as I gain back my conscious.

Of course it was a dream.

Strangely I'm feeling really comfortable. I don't remember my old bed feeling like this.

I just want to drift back to sleep but I force my eyes to finally open. A sharp pain in my forehead makes me flinch.

I look around still feeling dizzy and disoriented.

Everything is blurred as I search around for my room. But nothing seems familiar.

Where the hell am I?

After a few seconds, I'm able to focus on my surroundings.

I'm lying in a really big and comfortable couch with a blanket covering me.

On my left, there's a huge window overlooking the beach. Outside everything is dark now.

Already dark? I must have slept for hours...

And how THE HELL am I here? And where is "here"?

My heart starts beating really fast with fear. And I try getting up to run.

But I'm too weak and tipsy so I fall back onto the couch.

"Oh look! She's awake" I hear a woman say from behind me.

She approaches me with a tea-cup on her hand. "Dear, so good to see you're finally awake. You've been asleep for more than 4 hours... Do you remember anything that happened?"

Her voice is really soft and tender. She is an old woman, with grey hair and big blue eyes. Really, really beautiful.

My heart race starts slowing down. I don't feel endangered anymore.

I smile back at her. And try remembering how I got here.

I was at the beach surfing... the man at the beach... and I fell!

I must've hit my head and fainted.

"I... I remember falling... And... there was a man... my beach... who?" I try explaining. And I completely fail.

The lady has a confused expression on her face. So I try again. Taking a deep breath first to calm my nerves.

"I was surfing and I fell. I must've hit my head and blacked out. But... How did you even find me?" I ask her.

No one knows about my beach...

"Actually it was me" a man says as he approaches us, coming from the same place the lady came from.

He was tall and very tanned. He looked like he was on his late forties or maybe early fifties... but he was very well preserved. He had the "surfer vibe" and his eyes were deep blue.
