"What colour Di?" Harry asked as he stood in front of the oversize paint card display.

"I know the door must be white, what's your favourite colour?" I asked as I chose what shade of white I wanted. I went with a crisp, bright white.

"This one for the outside!" He pointed to a pale green colour, "And this for inside!" He pulled another card out that was a light bright blue.

"I love it Harry!" We'd already grabbed new wood for the railing outside, two old wooden chairs from the side of the road to paint and we grabbed fly screen too to close the balcony in with.

"Harry?" I asked as we payed for the items.

"Yes?" He smiled back at me.

"Thank you for this. It means so much to me. You're helping me fix something that I love so dearly. Really, thank you." I smiled at the lady at the check out and walked outside with Harry.

"Di, this means as much to you as it does to me. You mean so much to me. Oh no, screaming girls!" Harry yelled.

We threw the stuff into the back of my old ute and jumped into the car. We drove off rolling with laughter.

"That was close!" Harry sighed, sounding relieved.

"I... Forgot... How... Famous you.... Are!" I managed to say through fits of laughter. Harry glared at me and I calmed down.

We collected the other things we needed from the shed including the picnics lunch my mum had made us and drove up to the old tree house. I climbed up to the balcony and Harry passed me what was needed at the time. I took the tool box gently from him and waited for him to climb up too.

"What's first Ma'am?" He asked winking at me.

"Let's get the bed dismantled and out & then we can remove the railing & fix that?" I suggested. Harry nodded with a huge grin and we started to work.

"Harry are you ready?" I asked before I started to lower the pieces of the bed frame to him. He nodded and placed them into the back of the ute.

We pulled apart the railing next while we chatted happily to each other. Harry sung occasionally too. Once the railing was gone I grab the whole place a really good sweep with a stiff broom and then a soft one.

We finished putting up the new railing and decided to have lunch. I spread the picnic blanket out in a partly sunny area on the ground and we sat down.

"Are you okay Harry?" I asked feeling a little worried. He looked up at me with his bright emerald green eyes.

"Yeah, sorry. Just had a thought."

"What was it Harry?" I asked and took a bite of my sandwich.

"Di, I love you."
