moving into a new town isnt going to be easy, i know that.
but i fucking hope it isnt like the last.
i could only hope for a better life here...____________
"keep the change." i told the cab driver, handing him a twenty dolar bill.
i grabbed my bag and climbed out, slamming the car door behind me. ensuring it was shut properly.in front of me stood a tall building, my new apartment... four stories up.
"this better be worth it, new jersey."
i sighed and walked towards the door, my hand pressed against the glass door opening it.
looking to my right i saw a desk, then a womans face light up.
"room 403?" she questioned me.
i smiled and nodded walking towards her. she handed me the key.
"thank you" i smiled to her. she nodded, "do you know your way?"
"ill find my way" i said walking from the desk.
immediately infront of me were a set of stairs, then to the left an elevator.
"you couldnt pay me enough"
turning to the left i walking towards the elevator. i stood before it and pressed button 1.
a few moments passed before the elevator dropped down.
the doors began to open, soon i was quickly surrounded by boys. teen boys. laughing with eachother.
i stepped back and sighed.
after them, one teen boy.hot.
he looked a little embarrassed by the lot ahead of him.
"they're so loud." he complained
i laughed, only because he was cute.
and he followed on.
i stepped in the elevator looking behind me, catching his eyes.
i quickly turned and pushed button number four.
"youre an embarrassment" i told myself.
i huffed, thinking of how annoying this appartment would be. so many boys, ive yet to see one female.
but my days, you never saw boys like him back in england.
he looked back, he must have thought i was weird or something.
i began following my thoughts feeling worse and worse.
"floor 4"
i jumped , a little startled. the doors began to slowly open and i walked out.
i looked at my key, "403"
"floor 4.... room 3?" i tried to think.i looked to the left, i saw my bags and luggage that was delivered days before now.
i walked fast towards it, finding it was door three. "thank god."
