Choices part 2

The next day
Juliet was so upset about what happened to her thinking about the choice she had made she couldn't tell anyone so she buried her pain deep in her heart and promised herself that she will never tell anyone she told herself that it was because if she told people what had happened her rivals will laugh in joy and she couldn't let that happen but the truth was the truth that she was even hiding from herself was  that she was afraid that if she told people about her feelings then she would have to accept it and that her emotions were a weakness that will only distract her from her goal or at least that's what she told herself but she couldn't hold all of this in only then did she remember her mothers advice her mother gave her a book and told her that anytime her sadness prevented her from talking to anyone she should write it down so she began writing

I thought if I don't see Alexandra again I would stop thinking about him but the truth is I feel like i lost a part of myself I can't tell anyone how I feel and I can't cry there is a saying if given the choice between two evils choose none and if given the choice of two good things choose both its choice not faith that determines your destiny but what if I don't want a choice what if all I want is someone to blame someone to yell at to look at myself in the mirror every morning and not blame myself

Juliet then shut her book as she heard someone coming it was the maid "Juliet the king has summoned you to the privy council meeting "she said Juliet replied in shock"I think you made a mistake no women other than queens are allowed in the privy council "no no the king has summoned and told you to hurry it's important "she said Juliet then hurried to the meeting she was then let in when she saw the king she curtsied then asked is there something wrong "yes " the king replied "although we had made an alliance with England they are planning on breaking the alliance "the king said "what do you mean we signed a peace treaty that will last five years "Juliet said "oh you naive girl did you really believe this peace treaty would last the only reason they sent it was because they were weak and we accepted because so were we we knew the second they got power they would start a war" said one of the advisors whose name was aldwin brickenden "so what do you suggest we do "Juliet asked aldwin "we form an alliance with Ireland they are weak and in dire need of help and are afraid of England "aldwin replied "what type of alliance "Juliet asked aldwin "after this we can't trust an alliance that can be broken easily we need an alliance that cannot be broken the prince of Ireland is looking for a wife we will offer him a marriage with princess Jane "he replied "what if England isn't planning to break the alliance if we make this alliance that will be an act of war we need to make sure your highness allow me to go they haven't seen me I will go to England and report back to you if they are planning on war in the meantime we can provide Ireland grain as they are in dire need of it they see that as an act of kindness in case we need an alliance that will help us a lot "the king was shocked at how amazing Juliet idea was he always thought women were less intelligent and were the weaker gender but Juliet was starting to prove him wrong "so how do you plan on entering the castle" the king asked Juliet "I will go in disguise as a maid i will hear all the information I need to hear " the king agreed to Juliet's plan and told her to get ready Juliet then asked the king "but Sophia needs somewhere to stay can you give me your word that she will be able to stay in the castle and all her needs will be attended to "the king replied "I give you my word " Juliet then went to her room Sophia came running in crying is it true what I heard you will leave "yes it's true "Juliet said "please don't go please don't leave me here "Sophia said not able to hold in her Tears "Sophia I must leave don't worry you will still stay in the castle till I return all your needs will be attended to but I must go "Juliet said she hugged her cousin goodbye and then went on her way to England the king said he knew a man who would give her food and shelter she then fell asleep

2 days later
she arrived she got off the carriage she was now in foreign lands with no one to care for her will she be discovered or will she continue her dangerous journey
