CHAPTER 1

Sylis POV

"Sylis get your ass up now!!!" My mom's voice boomed from the kitchen. "Your gonna be late for your first day of school."

I slowly pulled my warm blankets off me and sat on the edge of my bed trying to wake up a little bit. "Sylis if you don't get down here in-" Before she could finish her rant I yelled back at her with a little growl in my voice, "I am up so stop fucking yelling."

"Don't you dare growl at me young man," Mom hissed back.

I pulled myself off my bed with a lot of effort and started to get dressed for boring ass school. After rummaging through my walk in close for about five minutes and settled on a pair of black skinny jeans with a sleeping with sirens shirt and my black and white J's.

"SYLIS-"my mom started."I'm coming Mom," I yelled before she could say any more.

I ran down stairs and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast before I got tired of mom ranting about me getting up let and finding my mate. Shit like that.

I walked into the kitchen and found my dad sitting at the table next to my 8 month old baby sister Mara reading a news paper. Mara was sucking on some toys occasionally throwing them on the floor and crying till someone got them. My mom was over the stove making baken and eggs with my twin sister Kira.

Mom saw me come in, "Took you long enough. Why can't you get up on time like your sister?" Mom whined.

Kira mimicked mom,"Yeah why can't you be more like me," she snickered. I sat down at the table next to Mara giving My mom and sister a look. "Maybe because I don't want to be an ugly bitch like you," I threw back at her.

My dad snickered trying to hide it with a cough but mom caught it. My sisters eyes were turning yellow and her canines were coming out of her mouth. Not that it scared me because I can always kick her ass in a fight.

Mom took action before anything could happen though,"Kira put your teeth back right now or so help me you will regret it and Thomas,"(Thomas is my Dad if you didn't pick that up)"if you ever laugh at a comment like that I'll have your ass," Mom yelled looking like she would rip our heads off if we so much as coughed as she talked. "Now Kira sit down. We are going to have a nice family breakfast. If anyone of if you so much as makes the wrong move you will face my wrath. Do you understand?," Mom asked.

"Yes,"we all mumbled

Kira Sat at the table with a pissy look on her face. Dad was still trying not to laugh and Mara had started to have giggle fit. Apparently she thought getting yelled at is funny.

If you didn't already catch this my mom doesn't like people not listening to her or her orders. My Mom's name is Marissa and she is the Luna of or pack. Which means that she is mated to the pack Alpha who is Thomas my father. My mom has silky long black hair with emerald eyes that I inherited and she's about 5"3 I think, hard to tell. My dad is 5"7 with brown hair and blue eyes that my sister inherited. I look just like mom except for the hair I got dad's hair and my sisters look just like dad but the don't have his hair but Mara got Mom's eyes.

Mom gave us our food and we ate in silence for a little bit until mom asked the same question she's been asking me every day.

"So Sylis, have you found your mate yet," mom smiled at me even though she knows I hate this question. "It's the same as yesterday mom. The answer is still no." I answers irritated with having to answer that question over and over again.

"You know you can't become Alpha until you find your mate," Dad said with a serious tone.

"I know. I'm working in it," He gave me a sympathetic look knowing I was frustrated with not finding my mate.

I looked at the time it was 7:15,   "Shit, Kira we have to go or were gonna be late." Kira ran upstairs to finish getting ready. I got up from the table kissed my Mom, Dad, and Mara saying goodbye to every one. I grabbed my keys and walked out the door getting into my black and white Camero and waited for Kira's slow ass to get out here so we could go. After about five minutes she was in the car and we were heading towards school.

------------Tiny time skip---------------

I parked the car and got out rushing to get into school before the bell rang with Kira right on my heels. "This is all your fault were gonna be late you know. If you didn't drive so fucking slow maybe once in a while we would be on time." Kira huffed out. I really wanted to kill her. She was the one taking twenty minutes to put some damn clothes on. I ignored her and walked in to the school rushing off to try and make it too my first period class. I barely slid into my seat before the bell rang. I leaned back and turned my head to the right to see Amber sitting on the other Side of me.

Amber is another wolf from my pack and we've been best friends since we were kids. She is the only person I share everything with. She's the only one I trust. She is also 5"3 with dyed silver hair and brown eyes. She was wearing black leggings with a thigh length red skirt with black and red t-shirt.

I smiled at her,"Hey bitch."

"Hey cock sucker," she flung back at me. I held a hand over my heart and made a hurt face,

"You've crossed the line we can't be friends any more it's over, done," I said wiping a fake tear of my cheek. We cracked up laughing at my amazing performance.

"Alright, all of you brats sit down and shut up." Oh boy dick face is still teaching. He's the meanest  teacher ever. He's a real ass.

About ten minutes after giving us a lecture he started the lesson. Half way through the class I smelled something that smelt like the woods, peaches, and honey. (I know this a weird scent but that's all I could come up with if you have a better idea plz do tell) I had a sudden urge to follow the scent. I got out of my chair and ran out of the class hearing a pissed off teacher yelling at me and Amber asking were I'm going. I ran towards the heavenly scent not caring about the trouble I was going to be in and ended up at the front office. That scent ended up belonging to a brown haired boy that I've never seen in school before. Must be new I thought. I walked over towards him and cleared my throat and he looked up at me. I found myself looking into a pair of beautiful green eyes that hypnotized me.

'MATE' my wolf screamed in my head. I had just found my other half my MATE.
