Christmas Story

This is only a short story that I made for the S Family for XMas...

I look out of the window of my work place, it has just started snowing in my area of Tokyo...

" It's getting chilly here... I wonder how are the kids doing..." I said to myself in a soft tone...

        I was supposed to help in the S Family household, but due to my editor's work - I have to help her out. And since there was a deadline for her, we rushed through the whole process.

"Hey! Shiki! Why aren't you off work?" shouted my boss. "I was helping Aya chan with her work and we are already done with it..." I said. "For crying out loud, then hurry up and leave~~ you don't want the family to wait for you!!" he said again. I nodded at him and start packing my bag.

        I saw my phone's LED blinking, "Hm??". There was a couple of missed calls and a few messages. I quickly browse through who the caller is and read the messages, they are from the family.

/Kassan~! Where are you?? We tried calling your phone, but we couldn't get through/ - Risaki

/Momma we have already done the decorations!/ - Yumiko

/Pudding minions are ready!!!/ - Aika

/Kuon couldn't wait anymore!!/ - Hiromi

The kids are lively as always... so I tried calling one of them. "I am on my way back... give me 30 minutes..." "Ok, we will wait for you~~" said Kana with glee.

        As I greeted everyone in the studio a Merry Christmas, I hurried off to my car and drove off.

"Phew~ I'm glad that there isn't a bad traffic jam or anything..." I said as I get off my car. From the outside, I could see the household being lively and very bright (due to all those lights on the tree, practically someone over decorated it).

"I'm home~~~" I shouted, and the three little ones were the first to ran up to me. "Daddy says he wanted to go pick mommy up." said Shika, but before she could even finish - Salvatorio butt in. "But since mama called up, he didn't have to..."

"Papa said that too!!!!" exclaim Sevrin.

"No he didn't!" Salvatorio bickered.

"SHUT UP!" shouted the youngest, Shika.

"Ha ha... no fighting during Christmas, or else Santa is not giving presents"

The three of them stopped and run off into the living hall, while I took off my coat and hang it onto the coat hanger.

"Mommy~~~~~" shouted Berna, as she walked over and gave me a hug. "It has been ages since I have seen you, mommy~~~" "Oh it has only been a few months Berna, don't exaggerate it.." I replied.

We walked into the living hall where everyone was waiting, and it has been months that I had not seen them since all of us are busy with work and studies.

"Hey, you're back... I was worried earlier when you didn't picked up your phone.." Eduardo said as he came to my side. "I was at work, and my phone was in silent mode" I replied. "I almost needed that cyborg to drive me to your place" he continues while staring at Ishigami. "Stop it... you should learn how to drive pirate.." Ishigami said as he walk towards us. "Save your sarcasm for later, the kids are here to celebrate Christmas"  Eduardo retorted.

Nathan and Sheryl then, came out with lavish food and place them on the table while Baba starts talking while lifting his champange glass... "Well! The whole family is here!! Cheers everyone, Merry Christmas!!!" "And a Happy New Year~~" Sisca continues.

The house was bustling with little children and the bigger kids, celebrating it as a family was the biggest happiness that anyone could offer.
