Part - 2

Summary of the previous part

In the previous part me and my friends explored the old temple and found there a Copper Coin which brought mysterious happenings with it (A mysterious 2 headed snake). We realized our mistake and kept the coin at it's place. After that all was normal and we got busy with our lives.

Me and all my friends now live in different states and rarely contact each other. 7 years passed like this after that incident.

But one Sunday, as I was cleaning my book shelf suddenly a picture of my friends fell from a old copy. I saw that picture and all my memories flashed in front my eyes. I felt really sad, I missed all the fun and adventure of my childhood days. The picture was taken by Abdul in front of that old temple with his father's old camera, but the picture was very clear and of good quality.

I immediately sat in front of my computer and mailed all of my friends. Asking them, "How are you my friend, don't you miss your old friend?" . I also send them the picture. The reply came from all of them except Amit. I asked all of them but no one could tell about him. Amit was brave, jolly and a very clever type of person. Even after that incident he never feared, He belonged to a rajput family and his ancestral home was in Ajmer. Once he invited all of us there we stayed there for 7 days (most memorable days of my life). We ate various kinds of Rajasthani dishes, some were spicy, some sweet and some beyond words. His grandpa took all of us to a long drive on his old Dodge jetfin. The car sounded like a growl what a lovely vintage

style. We saw the forts and many tourist places, we also enjoyed riding camel.

We had no contact with him from the past 1 year. I remembered the last message he replied was during the Christmas. We all missed him a lot, so decided to arrange a get together on his upcoming birthday (18th may 2006)at his place in Ajmer.

We all met at Delhi station on 17th may morning. And boarded the train in the afternoon. It was scorching heat at that time and we all bathed with sweat. We brought some cold drinks but that also didn't gave much relief. It took 8hrs to complete the journey till Ajmer. After getting down we took some rest in the station's waiting room.
At 5:00am we all were ready to approach his ancestral house. We booked a taxi and reached there at 6:30am . When we knocked at the door his father opened it and seeing us felt happy. He took us inside and told that, "I should thank all of you to come to visit your friend, he may feel happy by seeing you all, now a days he even stopped talking to his parents. My son is not sharing his problem ... he always stairs at the night sky and remains sad". His dad told us to give Amit a surprise and meanwhile he would leave from there.

Now we understood why he not replied to our messages. At 7:00am we all stood in front of his room. We knocked slowly, at first no response came but afterwards he opened the door. As soon as he opened the door he looked quickly around and took us inside. He locked the door, came towards us hugged tightly and started crying like a baby. We calmed him and wished him happy birthday. Then my eyes fell on a very large photo frame which was hanged in his room. That was the same photo that was with all of us (the picture of us in front of that temple). The picture was large in size so the details were more clear to be seen. Now I thought that it's better, not to disturb him by asking something.
Later that day we celebrated his birthday party. And he also enjoyed but sometimes in between I have noticed him lost in thoughts and grief.
