Terence's POV:
I woke up from the sound of the alarm on my phone. I immediately grab it and look at the time. It's six o'clock in the morning. Quite a relief. I tried to go back to sleep, but to no avail. When I realized that sleep won't hit me anymore, I made a decision to get out of my bed and head downstairs to the kitchen.
When I walked in, my mom was already making breakfast. Which is weird 'cause it's still early. She spared me a side glance, then go back to frying the bacons and eggs. "You're up early." She said with a little shock hint in her voice. "I could say the same thing to you. What's up?" I replied as I opened the fridge to grab a carton of milk.
"Oh, your little sister's got a violin recital today. She needs to be there early, and I'm taking her." She explained while putting food in front of me. Pancakes with a whipped cream on top and blueberries, with bacons and eggs. "Yum! Where is she anyway?" I asked, and right on cue, she entered the room. "Present!" She cheerfully said, all dressed up for her recital. She placed her violin case on the counter, then took a seat beside me. Mom puts a plate of food in front of her. Same as mine, but her fruits were strawberries.
We both started eating our breakfast, then mom left the kitchen and went upstairs. Then Tyra looked at me and asked, "Why are you up so early?" then grab her glass of orange juice and took a sip from it.
"Why?" I asked back still eating my breakfast. "Nothing. Just kinda strange for you." She replied. "Well, it's kinda strange for me, too. I couldn't fall back to sleep when I woke up this morning." I admitted. "Good luck to your recital." I said to her, then jokingly added, "Break a leg. Like literally." She laughed, then said a thank you to me before punching my shoulders lightly.
After eating breakfast, mom and Tyra took off. While I went back to my room to take a shower. After taking a shower, I put on casual and comfortable clothings for school, then stepped outside of the house. I was walking to my car when I decided to call Michael. He answered the call when I got in the car.
"Hello? Who's this?" He said on the other line with a groggy voice. "You're still in bed? Get up, asshole! I'm on my way to school." I said to him. "Woah! Seriously?! You're this early? What's going on? What's happening to you? It's not even 7am yet." He asked in a row, now fully awake. I chuckled, "I don't even know. Now get up! See you in school. Bye!" I said to him. "Okay, see you! Bye!" He replied, then he hangs up. I started the engine of the car then drove off to school.
When I arrived, the parking lot is still half empty and I parked near the entrance of the building. I turned off the engine and was grabbing my bag when a Honda Civic parked next to my car. The car windows were tinted, so I couldn't see who's driving it. I opened up my car door, then stepped off. When I closed the car door, the car next to me opens its door then the driver stepped out. It was Lyron. I remembered our conversation in the cafeteria yesterday. He closed the door, then went inside. Still, as usual, looking at the floor. He hasn't even noticed me.
I just shrugged the memory off, then I headed inside. I went to my locker first to grab some things. After that, I went to my first subject for today. When I entered, the room was silent. There's still no other students, except me and Lyron. He's sitting in his seat, head turned towards the window, looking outside. He didn't even flinched or turned towards me when I entered the room. I took my seat, then grabbed my phone in my pockets. I looked for my earphones in my bag, then remembered I left it in my nightstand.
