Chapter-9 Back to Hogwarts

Christmas Eve (evening time)
Everyone is sitting around the table. Hermione is in her own thoughts. Whatever she heard about Harry from Ginny's point of view is still shocking her. She didn't believe Harry could do such a thing. He kissed Romilda Vane. Ewww..

Hermione's POV
I am seeing everyone talking. Mr Wilson is looking down. He is a strange person. I thought.
Ginny is still in her room after what she just told me. Whatever she suffered from was so strong of her. I am still in doubt kissing Romilda and cheating on Ginny. It's actually so out of Harry's behaviour.

I will not leave the matter either. I looked up at Harry. He was looking here and there, surely searching for Ginny. Awww... he still loves her. I went to his side.

"Harry I need to talk to you." He looked up at my face and probably noticing a worried look because he stood up and start walking. I followed him.

"What is it?" He asked me standing in the corner leaning on a wall.

"Harry... " I was thinking what I should say when an idea struck in my mind.

"Harry.. er... I need your memory!"

" Yeah sure.. wait WHAT!?"
I just nod.

"Hermione are you ok? You need my, my memory, Why?" He said in a freaky way.

"First listen and then freak out ok?"
He just nodded at me like crazy.

"So, I talk to Ginny and she told me everything about that day. I want to know from your own perspective. And I know you still love her. I have seen the way you look at her." I said the last line with a smirk.

"Oh. Yeah. Right." Is what he said to me.

"Tell me, Harry. What happened before Ginny saw you kissing Romilda Vane?"

He told me everything in one go. Without making eye contact. After what I listened to, I genuinely feel sorry for both of them. AND I KNOW NOW HOW ROMILDA TRICKED HIM.
I AM GONNA KILL THAT GIRL!
After a heavy sigh, I patted on his shoulder.

"Harry I promise I will do everything ok. It's just a misunderstanding. I need your memory of that moment. Harry please.."
I insisted him making puppy eyes.
He gives me a heavy sigh before saying,

"Ok, Hermione. Fine. But promise me not to do anything bad or making the situation even worst."

"I promise."
With that said, he pulls his wand and place it gently on the temple of his forehead. He pull a white silvery strang and I locked it in a vile.
"Thanks." I said to him and make my way to Molly.

I look back at him giving him a reassuring nod and then stopped in front of Molly.

"Molly..uhh I need to go to Hogwarts right now. I'll be back at dinner."

"Dear is it anything bothering you?"
She asked me giving me a concerned look.

"It's about the mission" I whispered in her ear.

She nodded at me and smile.
And with that, I apparated myself to the gate of Hogwarts.

Ginny's POV

I decided to go out of my room. I was crying and sobbing in my room after telling everything to Hermione.
I am brave and happy. I reassured myself.
I quickly come out and see Hermione and Harry is talking about something and then Hermione apparated.
I quickly go to Draco's side and ask him,

"Do you need anything else, Mr Wilson.?"

He smirks his fake moustache.

"Oh no, no everything is alright." He said.
I patted on his shoulder slightly and make my way to Mum.

"Hey, mum!"

"Hey, sweetheart! Is everything alright?" She asked me.

"Where does Hermione went?" I asked.

"Uhh... She went to the ministry. She said she will be here at dinner. " She said before turning around and went to the kitchen.

Why is everything seems strange to me?
I look at Draco who recently got free from my father. He look at me making a I-AM-BORED-AF! look at me. I just shrugged.
I started helping my mum in the kitchen.
Then I heard a voice. When I was going to look at the voice, I heard someone talking. It's Ron. Ok, I feel like I shouldn't be eavesdropping. I was about to return to my work when I heard Ron saying Malfoy.
I saw he wasn't alone. It was Harry he was talking with.
I heard,

Ron: Mate, Malfoy had been spotted again.
Harry: What! Where?
Ron: As I told you he was first spotted at muggle London market. He has been spotted around this alley. I am scared for Ginny now. What if he has been planning on something?
Harry: We need to do something. Let's-
*****
But before he could say something, my father called Harry and Ron.
Now I am getting scared. I don't know this would happen. I have to tell Draco and escort him out safely.

Hermione's POV

I apparated straight to the entrance of Hogwarts. I make my way to the corridors.
Memories of us as a student keep sprinkling in my mind. We used to break the laws to save all the other's arses. Now here we are. I sighed.

I reached the Headmistress office and it's about the time when I was going to knock, the door opens itself revealing McGonagall.

"I think you need something?" She asked.

"How?! Well never mind actually, I do need something." I said now standing in front of her desk.

"And what's that, if I may ask?" She asked me raising an eyebrow.

"Pensieve." I said. I know now she will ask me why and I am just about to think of a good fake reason when she speaks again.

"Indeed I will give you. And I clearly not ask you the reason. I believe you." She said with a small chuckle.

At that moment I thought she is actually behaving like Dumbledore when he was the headmaster. And I like this genuine behaviour of them.

"Thanks Professor. I owe you."

"Oh dear! Nothing to owe me anything. Just use it well. And try to return this in one piece please." She said while handing me the Pensieve.

This time I used her fireplace and make my way to Ginny's house using floo.
When I entered, I see nobody there in the hall. And then I heard some voices coming from the dining table. Oh they must be having dinner. I thought.

I went to the dining table and nod to Molly assuring her that everything is going fine.

I took a sit beside Ron. He is gulping food as usual. I smiled at this. I mean what is Ron without food.

Well, everything seems fine. We talk and planned for tomorrow. I still doubt Mr. Wilson. I mean he is acting weird. I never saw him earlier but he is like he is pretending to be him. I shake these thoughts aside and think what to d
o next to make the mission accomplished.
Everyone make there way to the rooms. Molly suggested that Mr. Wilson will sleep at the guest room. Mr. Weasley and she will sleep in the other spare room.
(A/n : that spare room is Draco's 😉)

Me and Ginny will be in Ginny's room.
And boys decided that they will hang out in the hall. They put mattresses on the floor.
I think now is the time...
