Third Person's POV

"Come a little near me." Ginny whispered.

Harry leaned his head near her. He definitely expected a slap as he blurted out his feeling so quickly and without even a hint of hesitation. But something felt different on his skin. It wasn't a slap and besides, he was feeling on his lips. He opened his eyes and then he saw Ginny leaning back to her position which made him realized that she just kissed him.

On the other side, Ginny was a little surprised by herself too. The way without even thinking she kissed him was very fierce of her as if she had no control of her body and her mind played against her. She saw him as he opened his eyes, which was stunned. She was deeply red as same as the colour of her hair.

"I am sorry" She mumbling as she looked down letting her hair fall down so that he couldn't be able to see any hint of embarrassment.

"Ginny no-"

"Let me, Harry." She said after looking up. Her eyes were teary and feeling of guilt rushing through her body.
"First I am sorry for what I have done with you for these past two years." She began as she inhaled sharply.

"I don't-"

Harry tried to say but again interrupted by Ginny.

"I was a complete fool who thought somebody like you would cheat. Ignoring you and also my family as much as possible was so wrong. What I did was utterly terrible." She sniffed as she continued. "Harry, you don't deserve me."

Harry who was trying his best to stop her for a second stopped himself when he heard what she said.

"Ginny stop it." He began yet very politely but again for the third time cut off by the Red Head as if she had gone temporarily deaf and decided to confess everything on that very moment.

"I haven't done anything good for you and yet you were there to save me-Forgetting all the bad stuff I said to you-" She whispered, sniffling.

"Pass me a tissue please." She said absentmindedly.

Harry handed her a tissue with a confusing look on his face. She sobbed a little while wiping her nose. After a while, she looked again at him.

"It was my mistake, Harry. That day, Romilda drank Polyjuice Potion and turned herself into me to get you." She trailed off.

"It was so silly of me to overreact." She pouted while holding back her tears.

Now Harry was little taken back of Ginny's strange behaviour. But damn, she was looking so cute and childish while pouting. He thought.

Shaking his thought away he said, "Ginny I never stopped lo-" but yet again interrupted by her.

"You are so modest. I love that modesty of yours. Ever since I first saw you at the platform, I started having a crush on you." she said now going off the topic

This time Harry didn't attempt to stop her trailing words. He was half amused and half upset about the unexpected and immediate change of behaviour.

"I remember writing a poem on you while I was a kid." She said wiping her tears again.

And without any warning, she started singing her poem in a whisper.

"His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,

His hair is as dark as a blackboard.

I wish he was mine, he's really divine,

The hero who conquered the Dark Lord."

She shook her head as she chuckled softly.

Harry looked at her bewildered. He definitely remembered the poem she wrote for him in school days during Valentine's Day. He tried to hide his blush but his hormones weren't taking his side.

He watched Ginny as she started snoring. He was shocked that at one moment she was talking and saying sorry but now she was sleeping soundly. He sighed as he watched her sleep. Draping a blanket properly to her body and throwing the tissue in the dustbin, he sat on the stool again.

Just then the same nurse came. Harry looked at her and smiled politely. But an urge came to ask her about Ginny who was just acting weirdly.

"Excuse me, can I ask you something?" He asked as he saw her settling some medicine on the side table.

"Yes, Mr Potter?" She said.

"Ginny." He began nudging his head towards her. "Was acting a little weird just before she went to sleep."

The nurse widened her eyes, thinking something and then let out a small gasp.

"Is something wrong?" Harry asked in panic.

"No, Mr Potter." She hesitated. "I just forgot to inform you earlier before leaving that I had to give Miss Weasley some potion to restrain her headache."

"And?" He arched his eyebrow questionably.

"So Miss Weasley certainly wasn't on her own when she was acting weird as you said. It was the effect of Potion. Probably looking a little drunk, which she obviously wasn't." She said.

Harry's mouth formed an 'O' when realisation hit him. All the time she was feeling tipsy. He chuckled slightly but when he saw the nurse confuse gaze he shook his head.

But when the nurse went out of the room, he didn't control and burst into fits of laughter, trying his best to slow down his voice.
He peered over Ginny who was sleeping like nothing happened. He caressed her cheek, touching her freckles on the way. She was genuinely adorable. He couldn't help but found himself staring in awe. The only woman he loved and adored. Ginny.

He let out a chuckle again remembering Ginny's drunk confession and the poem she sung. And yet again he blushed at the words.

"His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad."
