Alexis POV
I woke up not wanting to leave my bed, i started siting there and questioning life am i supposed to be here? was i a mistake? Those thoughts started filling my head fighting wanting to stay but i remembered i need to go the store so i get up and i slowly walk to my closet and get my favorite outfit out. After I'm done getting dressed i put my make up on, "Hey luna, baby lets go outside before i leave" i said softly rubbing her side then slowly sliding my hands around her and picking her up like a baby "you're like me lazy but cute" i said giggling to myself and head downstairs letting her out while she was out I got myself a bottle of water then i heard a knock on the door "I got it" i said to anyone downstairs i open the door to see "JAKE!?" I said confused as why my ex was here we broke up cause it wasn't the right time. "Hey i seen your car and wanted to say hi" he said smiling "I missed you babygirl" he said his smile fading "I know i missed you to" i said as i heard someone come downstairs i look behind me and see Colby with a confused but yet little jealousy on his face "Colby this is Jake my ex, Jake this is Colby." I said smiling "Hi Colby, are you guys um dating?" He asked sounding a little hurt god i missed this boy so much he made me feel special "Hey, oh um Alexis i was wondering if you wanted some pizza for dinner tonight?" "Yea, hey Jake wanna come over later and have some with us?" I said smiling but seeing Colby roll his eyes at him "Yea" he said as i see colby walk over and let Luna in "Aw whose dog is this?" He said kneeling down to pet her softly "Mine" i smiled "I have to leave but ill be back soon so if you wanna stay and wait or me to come back you can" he nodded yes as in he would i guess so i grab my keys and head to my car after i left the house thoughts flooded my mind of the bad times and good times i had with Jake i started crying remembering he said I wasn't pretty, i don't know why i still like him, i don't deserve to live i don't deserve anything "FUCKK MY LIFE!!!!! WHY ME why me" I said next thing you know i hear a really loud horn and everything goes blurry the car flips over twice i see blood on my arms glass shattered like a brick went through it people running and another car but the person was able to get out it looked like i cant feel my right leg its gone completely numb and white I think it's paralyzed "I'm sorry Colby i love you." I said as i start crying so hard and it gets harder and harder to breathe pretty soon i hear sirens come closer and closer and closer until they arrive the firefighters get me out of the car and start asking questions "M'am does anything hurt?" He asked looking at me "My leg is numb and i cant move it at all and my sight is blurry.Also can you make sure the only people that can go to my room is Colby Brock, Jake Young and Katrina Stuart."i said as he nodded they put me in an ambulance and head to the hospital once we arrive they take some blood and x-rays I have been crying for Colby wanting his arms to cuddle and warp softly around me and tell me everything will be alright "I need Colby Brock,COLBY!" i cry trying to sit up but the nurses hold me down "Someone go see if theres a colby Brock out there" a doctor says
Colbys POV
After i got the call from the hospital i immediately rushed there "I would've never let this happen to her" Jake said to me i grab him by the shirt "How the fuck was i supposed to know she was gonna get in a wreck besides you're her ex for a reason" i said as sam made me let go "Calm down Jake it wasn't his fault and Colby breathe she'll be okay she's a fighter" sam was talking but got interrupted by a nurse "Is there a Colby Brock" "Yes thats me is something wrong?" I asked nervous "Yea Alexis is begging for you follow me" she said as we rushes to the room she was in i started hearing her cry e enter the room and i rushed to her side "Shh its ok A I'm right here baby" i said tearing up  cause i hated seeing her in pain "Colby?" She looked at me then she held my hand even tighter "I'm here baby" i said smiling "Ok we're gonna get you a room and wait for results" Dr.Mavrick said "ok" i said as they pushed her into room with me walking behind them. The doctors and nurses leave
Alexis POV
"Colby can you lay with me?" I said wanting to feel his warmth on me "Yea" he said chuckling he lays on the bed with me i put my head on his chest and breathe normally feeling time slow down he kisses my head and then we both end up falling asleep. When I wake up Colby's not there I start feeling a tear slip out of my eye thinking he was never here then I hear a knock and it's Katrina, Jake (the ex) and Colby I wave for them to come in "Oh my god baby I'm sorry you went through this" Jake said but when Colby said it I felt shy and happy but him saying it makes me feel weird "Babygirl I got you a drink" Colby said smiling handing me a bottle of water "Why did you say that?" Jake told Colby as I sat there "He always calls me that, why is there a problem with it Jake? Because last time I remember you called me ugly then broke up with me!" I said starting to get angry "Yes there is a problem I made that mistake I love you I haven't dated anyone since" he said causing me to stare "So who is it Alexis me or him" Jake said as they stood there "Jake stop she's in no position to be doing this" Colby said standing between me and him "No she needs to quit playing with feelings and decide" "No Jake I don't have to decide I am laying here probably losing my fucking leg and all you care about is if I love you or not well news flash Jake I don't when I said I missed I meant as in a friendly way so if you're gonna be a dick this whole time then fucking leave and never come back like you did the first time because that's all your good at!" I said getting super angry and then it becomes harder to breath "Colby get a nurse her breathing is slow" Katrina said rushing towards me still looking at the monitor "No it's because of him" I said pointing to Jake, "I want you to leave" Katrina said standing up "I'm a nice person but if someone is gonna come at my best friend and make her upset like you did then I get mean so I want you to leave or I will make you" she said her voice getting a little louder Colby walks over and holds my hand "Don't focus on them focus on me ok babygirl just focus on the sound of my voice and block any other noise out so it's just me and you" he said softly as I lay there doing what he said to focusing on his eyes I realized that I am lucky to have friends like them and guy like Colby I noticed Katrina and Jake left so I leaned in and kissed Colby "I didn't pick him because I pick you" I said laying my forehead against his and smile ever so brightly i hear a knock on the door and it was a nurse "Bad news your leg is paralyzed and you can get it surgically removed and get a prosthetic leg you will be needing crutches or a wheel chair, but i will be sending you home with both just so if your leg gets tired from all the weight." She said my smile fading "Well can he come with me too? Like for the surgery?" I asked wanting Colby to come with me so i know I'm not alone "Yes he can but since you want a prosthetic you will be staying here for two days because we are gonna get you fitted for a prosthetic leg tomorrow,okay" she said looking at me and Colby "Ok thats fine with me" i said then she left the room my mind starting filling with the thoughts again and i think Colby noticed cause he grabbed my hand and with his free hand he put on my chin and moved my face to look at him "Look you're gonna be okay, you're still gonna be the most beautiful, amazing, funny, caring, sweet girl you were before and I'm still gonna love that beautiful , amazing, funny, caring, sweet girl. Everyone will love you the same way they did before in fact everyone is out there in the waiting room knowing you'll make it though 'this because you are a fighter and this fighter never stops no matter what" He said making me fall in love with him he kisses me so gently we slowly pull away and look into each others eyes "Why don't you go let the others in" I said laying back in my bed before Colby leaves a Doctor comes in "M'am we're doing surgery tonight and then you'll be getting the prosthetic after, and that way you'll only have to stay and extra day" he says smiling letting me know it'll be ok "Ok the nurse said Colby can come with me to surgery is that fine?" "Yes he will need to wear a scrub though" "I'm fine with that as long as I can go with her" he said smiling "Okay well we're gonna head down in a fe- actually now" he said walking to me and started pushing my bed down the hall to surgery
