The Last Song

Chapter 5

Rhian's POV

Pagkatapos ng ilang oras ay sa wakas... Naka-uwi na rin ako... Nagbayad na ako sa taxi at saka bumaba na rin... Inopen ko na ang gate at nilock pagkatapos... I opened the door and was surprised when I realized that it wasn't locked... Nagdala na rin kasi ako ng susi para kung sakaling tulog na sila eh... Di ako matutulog sa labas... Ibig sabihin ay gising pa si Ate Nat... 12 am na ah... Natagalan ako kasi sobrang traffic sa may EDSA... I looked around for a while and thank God no one saw me... So I tip toed towards the stairs para makapasok na rin sa kuwarto... Cause for sure... Mapapagalitan ako nito... Malapit na talaga sana ako sa itaas ng may nagsabi...

What time is it? Bakit ngayon ka lang?  I heard a voice coming from my back... I gulped and gathered all my strength before facing her...

Actually it is exactly 12:03 in the morning...  Sabi ko habang tinitingnan ang phone ko...

And why am I late to your curfew? I was stuck in the traffic earlier... I replied honestly to her question...

I understand... Sige na... Magpahinga ka na... Ayoko ng maulit toh or else... You're grounded... She exclaimed with authority...

I just looked at her and with out another word... I went directly upstairs...

I took a half bath and changed into my pajamas... I just wore a sleeveless gray top and went to my bed... I was about to close my eyes when my phone vibrated... I took it and saw a message request from...  Timothy Garcia?

My heart palpitated when I saw his picture with it's name on it when I opened my messenger... Oh c'mon...  I don't have feelings for him naman diba? 

Without another thought... I accepted his request... I first turned my active status off so that Ate Nat wouldn't know that I'm still awake... After a second... He started a conversation...

Timothy : Hey!

Me: Hey there! You're still up? You should be resting by now... Need anything?

Timothy : And you must be resting by now as well... Don't be such a hypocrite... Tsk...

Me: Just tell me exactly the point why you texted and bothered me before I changed my mind and block you!

Timothy : Okay fine... Cool down... Invite sana kita rito sa bahay... Sa next Sunday pa naman... Tinext ko sina Eliana at Elyza... Punta raw sila...

Me: Oh... I'll try... But I can't promise...

Timothy : ok... Bye!

At sinara ko na ang phone ko... I turned it off and went fast a sleep...

Fast forward....

Monday na ulit and yeah... Card day na namin... In fairness ang bilis magcompute ng mga teachers... Cause we only had our exams last week then ngayon... We can already recieve our cards... Then as always... Si ate Nat ang kukuha ng cards namin ni Miguel... Eh swerte nga si ate cause at their school, students can get their own cards without their parents... So yun... We still did our routine... Naligo, nagbihis at kumain na kami... We grabbed our own bags and went inside the car...

Oh... Rhi, Miguel... Anong oras nga uli ibibigay yung cards niyo? Tanong ni Ate Nat habang nagdadrive...

4:00 pm daw po... Miguel replied...
