Giyuu was wandering around the Headquarters, still reflecting what he had just done to the Moon Hashira. He did not mean to say it that way but it was the point he wanted to give her out. Maybe the words he would have said would be "I'm sorry but it would be better for him if you were to be fine" or it could be "You should get back and keep being strong inside and out, it would have been his wish for you". Giyuu sighed as he realized that he should have been careful of the words he would be spitting out from his lips. He was bad at this, let alone conversing with others. He could not blame her for what she said to him
"SO WHAT?! YOU GUYS ARE JUST GONNA SHRUG IT OFF?!"
"HE WAS MY FIRST AND ONLY FRIEND AND NO ONE WOULD OUTBEST HIM! HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST AND YOU WOULD JUST FORGET IT?!"
"No one would outbest him, huh?" Giyuu mumbled. He stopped at the front of an estate. It was the Moon Hashira's and he, never once in his life, felt nervous about it. It was good looking yes but whoever resides in it was something he did not want to meet, yet. He continued to walk down from whatever path he was walking until he was met by purple orbs. He guessed it right, she was trying to cheer her up.
"Ara ara, Tomioka-san! What an unusual place for me to meet you!" Shinobu smiled. There she goes with her insults once again.
"How is she?" Giyuu asked, not giving an ounce of attention to her insults.
"Aww, now that's not what I was expecting for you to say! Why bother? Do you like her? If you do, you might want to change your mind about that" Shinobu insulted him once again. That statement alone made his blood boil but he remained calm as much as possible, not breaking his wall.
"Can I at least talk to her?"
"Talk? You talk to other people? What a peculiar change of pace you have!" Shinobu smiled. Her tone was making him already irritated and not giving him a chance to talk to her. This would be the only chance and the next day and the next will be no longer his chances to be in contact with her.
"Well, she is in her room and not bothering to go out. It is quite difficult to pull her out of her comfort zone" Shinobu somehow answered quite to his question. Giyuu knew he went overboard to the Moon Hashira and sighed.
"If it would be okay, can you let me know if she is already okay to converse with?" Giyuu asked.
"Why are you so desperate to talk to her? Is there something going on between the two of you?" Shinobu asked, her patience running out.
Don't let anyone know about any of this....
"It's... complicated to explain," Giyuu answered.
"Really? If it is too complicated for you then why is she involved and not bother telling us?" Shinobu asked.
"No, this is only between me and her," Giyuu stated, avoiding his voice to be raised and mentioning the person's name who entrusted her to him.
"Oh? And why only you? I think it's better--"
"Someone important to her told me to take care of her. It would have been the last wish of that person. This person was someone she cherished so much and this person entrusted her to me so would you please stop the nonsense you are babbling about because I'm too goddamn worried about her" Giyuu's patience ran out and he managed to let his voice be in rage, making Shinobu shocked.
"A person she cherished so much.... I see" Shinobu smiled.
"I will give you a heads up if anything happens, but know this Tomioka-san" Shinobu added.
