Yasmin
I am currently waiting at the airport with impatience. My phone starts ringing as I receive a call from Lucas.
Lucas- Hey Yasmin! Where are you? I'm dying to see you.
Yasmin- Go get your suitcase, you will find me nearby.
Lucas- See you soon.
I see Lucas enter the room. I could recognize that beautiful man as soon as I saw him, he didn't change. I hug him deeply.
Lucas- Can't... breathe
I let him go.
Yasmin- I missed you so much! I'm really happy to see you again.
Lucas- I missed you too Yasmin. I'm sorry that we lost touch. My work got in the way.
Yasmin- I know... At least we are together now. I'm really glad you could make it.
I hear my name being yelled from afar by a familiar voice. It's Madeleine. She is even more beautiful then the last time I saw her.
Madeleine- Yasmin!
Yasmin- Omg! Madeleine! How was the flight? I know how much you hate planes.
Madeleine- It was horrible. I drank a lot last night so I threw up.
Yasmin- How unfortunate... anyway, there are more drinks at my house.
Madeleine- Now that's what I'm talking about! I knew this flight would be worth it.
Lucas- How heavy is your bag?
Lucas tried to pick up her back, he can't lift it with both his arms and he hits the gym often.
Yasmin- I told you to pack light...
Madeleine- Honey, this is light. I can't wear the same thing two days in a row. And I brought some outfits that I designed as a gift for you.
Yasmin- Awww, that's so sweet of you. I saw your designs and they always look amazing.
Lucas- So...Where are the others?
Yasmin- They don't live as far away as you two so they don't need to take a plane. They are at the hotel.
Lucas- Sorry, but I don't regret living in Paris.
Madeleine- I don't regret living in Europe either.
Yasmin- Ok you too, stop flexing. Come on, there is a limousine waiting for us outside.
Madeleine- A limo? I've always wanted one.
Yasmin- It's not mine, it's my fiance's.
Lucas- Dis you marry a millionaire or something?
Yasmin- You can say that. I thought you guys would have guessed it by now. He kind of payed for your plane tickets. I thought you were a detective.
Lucas- I am. I just wanted to make sure.
It was a long drive. I used this time to catch up with Lucas and Madeleine. They both have great jobs and it sometimes makes me jealous. All the jobs that I have gotten have been nothing but an embarrassment. I'm a bartender. I've always wanted to be a doctor but college was too expensive for me. Although, I am thankful that I met Lionel. He ignored my background and loved me for who I am and I love him. We are arriving at the hotel in which all my friends will be staying. I closed my eyes to picture all their faces. I already felt closer to them. We exit the limousine and find the rest of my friends waiting in front of the entrance. There was Vanessa, the artist and Jacob, the journalist. Now that we are all finally back together, we give each other a group hug.
Jacob- I missed you guys so much! I'm so happy to finally see you guys again.
Vanessa- How long has it been?
Jacob- About 10 years.
Lucas- Time flew faster then I thought.
Yasmin- We have a lot of catching up to do.
Madeleine- But first, we need shots.
We all enter the hotel and we sit in the table that I reserve and we start talking. We talked about the wedding mostly but also about what everyone has been up to. They have been busier then I thought. They have all be making lots of cash, except for me. Being a bartender really sucks. The sun goes down and we all feel really exhausted.
Yasmin- I guess it's time to go gets some rest.
Madeleine- Sure but I want one last drink.
Lucas- That's enough for you.
Madeleine- Booooo! Your such a fun buster Lucas! Being drunk is great! How do you think I come up with such cool designs?
Yasmin- Remember guys, you have to be ready at 9:00 AM tomorrow. We need to do the wedding rehearsal early.
