I walk outside and see Hayes with his penny board
"Are we gonna skate to the movies?"
"Yes so go grab your board"
I ran and got my tie-dye skate board out of the garage
"I'm back" I yelled
"Okay let's go" he jumps on the board and began skating I started right after
"Hey Hayes I'll race you to the movie theater" I yelled
"You're on Caniff" he began speeding up I sped up too.
He started slowing down and I looked behind me and gave him a confused look but when I turned and looked in front of me I saw a that I was about to go down hill
I tried to stop but instead I ended up flying off my board
"Oh my gosh Alexis are you okay" Hayes yelled while running to me
"I think so." I said
"Here lets go sit down" he said helping me up
We walked over to a bench and sat there
"I'm gonna go get the boards really quick" Hayes said getting up
He ran and got the boards then came back
"Here Alexis" he said while handing me my board
"Thanks" I said while grabbing my board
"Hey Alexis, Cassidy was cheating on me she didn't stand me up" he said
I instantly hugged him because he really liked her
"Hey Alexis we've known each other since for ever and I've liked you since 2nd grade and we're about to be freshmen in high school that means I've liked you for 7 years I just thought I should let you know" Hayes said
"I like you too Hayes" I said
Then he started to get closer to my face and our lips are about to touch
