Once upon a time, in the 1500's there was a kingdom that was lead by an aging king. He had a loving wife and was beloved by all in his kingdom. Three years after he got married his wife blessed him with a beautiful baby girl with hair as black as the midnight sky, skin as pale as snow, and lips as red as a rose in full bloom. She was named Mary, but known to many as Snow White. Around the time of Mary's birth in another kingdom a prince was born. The kings of these kingdoms sought an alliance through the marriage of their children. At the age of one princess Mary and prince Francis were engaged. Mary grew in beauty and was known by all as the fairest maiden in all the land. When Mary was 7 her father passed away. Her mother so absorbed in running the kingdom sent young Mary to live with a convent of seven women. It would be ten years before she laid eyes on another man.
