Chapter 6

                                  "Before You Go"

"Hello Luca" I called out to him from behind

The moment he turned around to face me I swung my metal baseball bat at him and it hit his head knocking him out instantly.

"Now the real fun can begin" I said with a grin on my face.

After knocking him out, I grabbed some rope from the side of the room and tied his hands and legs. Pulling him to Chloe’s side I placed a metal shackle on his neck and chained him to the wall and went back to my chair to wait for him to wake up.

All this time Chloe sat down there paralyzed with fear. She turned to her side to see an unconscious Luca bleeding at the side of his head and then she turned to look at me as I drank from my almost empty glass of juice.

"I'm going to get a refill, I'll be back" I said to her as I walked up the stairs to the kitchen.

I came back a few minutes later and sat back down.

"Luca, please wake up" she said as she shook Luca in an attempt to wake him up

"Don't worry, he's not dead yet" I said taking a sip from my glass of juice

She ignored my words and continued her attempt to try and shake him back to consciousness.

Thirty minutes had passed and he still hadn't woken up.

"Okay this is taking too long" I said as I got up from my chair and walked up the stairs.

I came back down with a bucket of water and poured it over Luca's head forcing him to jolt up

"Oh wow you're finally awake" I said tossing the bucket to towards the staircase.

"Luca" Chloe shouted as he woke up

"What.... what happened? Ow my head" he said reaching for the spot where I hit him "Why am I tied up? He said as he struggled with the ropes on his hand and legs

"Well you're tied up because you're my prisoner now" I said to him taking my seat

Luca turned to side looking at Chloe accessing the condition that she was in.

"Are you okay?" He asked "

"Barely" she replied as a tear fell down her cheek

"Isn't this a lovely reunion?" I said with a smile "The two lovers finally meet each other after their attempt to run off together failed" I added

"Two lovers, what are you talking about?" Luca said to me as he turned his attention back to me

"Oh Luca don't even bother lying. It didn't end well for Chloe" I said pointing at her scar

"You did that?" He said when he saw the scar on her hand "I'm going to kill you for that" he added

"Not before I kill you first" I said with a smile on my face

"Why do you have both of us tied up down here?" He asked as he struggled to sit up.

"Well I needed answers" I responded "Chloe hasn't told me much so I decided to ask you instead" I added

"What answers?" he asked

"Well for one, why did you sleep with the girl that I was in love with?" I asked him as I leaned forward

He looked at me and then he laughed.

"I'm sorry, I wasn’t aware that there was clown in the room making you laugh" I said to him as I leaned back on my chair
