You were about to close the door to his office and leave but he stopped you. "Oh wait y/n! one more thing.", you turned around and entered the office once again. "I wanted to end things on a good note. Can we forget about the past and stay as friends?", "oh.. sure. of course we can be friends! I tried contacting you a few times, did you change your number?", you replied. "Yeah, i did. my new number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Also i wanted to ask you one more thing, y/n.", "go ahead.", "My wedding is in two weeks, would you like to come?", he asked you. You found it quite odd that he would ask you, his ex, to come to his wedding.
But he also did say he wanted to forget about the past so you agreed. "Yeah, of course i'll come!", you replied. "Great! i'll message you the invitation with the location and everything else. Anyway, you should probably get back to work. Thanks for your time Y/n.", "no problem.", you said finally leaving his office. You were so close to having a mental breakdown. What were you going to wear? You wanted to be in your finest. You called your friend Jieun and she had said she was also invited, so at least you wouldn't be alone. You didn't really think about it but you just realized how hard it would be to watch him get married.
After work you and Jieun decided to go to the mall. "We only have two weeks! And what if there are cute guys there? We need to dress to impress, sis!", She said. You visited every shop and got everything you needed, but you couldn't find a good dress. "ugh y/n, none of these suit you. Let's check this last store and then we'll go to a different mall if there aren't any good dresses there either.", Jieun said as you both entered the last shop. It was quite small so it was unlikely you would find a good dress here. "We should just go to another mal-", you continued until she cut you off. "OMG Y/N! YOU NEED TO TRY THIS ON!", Jieun handed you a dress that was quite decent.
It was a sweet pink coloured see-through ruffle dress with double embroidery. It looked just your size and it was your type of style. "What are you waiting for? go try it on!", Jieun urged you excitedly. A few moments later you came out of the dressing room. "This is perfect, y/n!", Jieun exclaimed. You looked in the mirror and you thought you looked quite good in it. You and Jieun had also bought jewellery and Makeup and they perfectly matched with the dress. "We'll take it!", Jieun eagerly told one of the workers as you went to take off the dress.
