izumi pov(4 years old)

we had just visited the quirk doctor and he told us that I had a quirk I was so excited that I was jumping it the back of the car.

me-"mama mama what do you think my quirk is going to be?"I asked as I grabbed the back of her chair

mum-"I'm sure your going to have a very heroic qui-"she was cut off when a bright flash when it hit the car

the car flipped multiple times as glass flew everywhere inside the car as we were flung around the car like rag dolls

time skip 2 days

narrator pov

as izumi laid in a hospital bed two people sat in the room in complete silence with the only sound being the beeping of the heart monitor. A few minuets passed as the two just sat their until they saw the little girl twitch before lifting her head up

izumi-"where am I?"she asked as she opened her eyes to reveal her now pale green eyes

mitsuki-"your in a hospital can't you tell?"she asked in a sweet and concerned tone. izumi shook her head

izumi-"it's too dark to tell"she says as she hears a gasp

katsuki-"hay izumi"he said as he waved his hand in front of her eyes only for there to be no reaction

izumi-"kacchan your here to"she said as a smile appeared on her face"wait. . .wheres my mama?"she asked

mitsuki looked down at the floor not knowing how to tell her that her mum died that morning without destroying the girls life anymore than it already has but as she was abut to says something the door opened and a doctor came in

doctor-"ah I see your up now how do you feel you-"he was cut off by izumi

izumi-"um could someone take the thing off of my face and wheres my mama"she said pointing at her face that had nothing on it

doctor-"there's. . .nothing on your face and. . . . .your mother is dead"he said in a depressed tone as the girls face became void of all emotions

katsuki-"hay izu it's all right you can come live with us right mom?"he asked as he looked at mitsuki

mitsuki-"of cores she can our house is her house"she says as she starts to tear up

doctor-"well anyway the x-rays show that you received no internal damage"which should be impossible"he said in a wispier"and you should be allowed to leave soon but as you've already noticed due to the amount of glass shards that hit her eyes there was a chance that she could be permanently blind and jugging by by your reaction to the blindness it will be permanent"he says as he waves them goodbye.

izumi still remand perfectly still staring into the void(literally)until katsuki grabbed her hand and she jumped to high heaven

katsuki-"izu I promise I'll look after you and become a hero to protect you"he said holding her hand close(dude she was in a car crash and only lost her sight I thing she can defend herself)

izumi just smiled at what he said

izumi-"ok but I wont give up that easily"she said turning to face him

time skip two years into middle school(note by this point izumi has changed her last name to bakugo as she has lived with them most of her life)

katsuki-"hay izu hurry up otherwise we're going to be late!"he yelled up the stairs

izumi-"DON'T FUCKING RUSH ME!"she yelled back
