Chapter 2

"Hurry up girls! The portal is closing soon!" Feyre called. "One sec! I am finishing up packing!" Lydia called back. A couple minutes later Lydia and Thalia both appeared with their bags. Thalia was lugging her teal and gold duffle bag along with four of Lydia's overflowing solid gold bags. Lydia herself was carrying eight bags stuffed to the brim. "You realize we are only going to Orynth for a couple days right?" Feyre asked her daughter.

"Oh! Then I really underpacked! I will be right back!"

"No you aren't! Come back!" Feyre called. When Lydia made no move to head back, Feyre sent tendrils of water to block her path and to drag her back. Thalia groaned. "You are insufferable Lydia!"

"You are so kind! Thank you so much!" Lydia said with a grin that she knew would drive her twin mad.

A few minutes later Mor showed up lugging along just as many bags as Lydia! Upon seeing Lydia's luggage Mor gasped. "Oh no! I thought I was packing those materials!"

"Don't these are just some of my other tools!" Lydia assured her.

"It sounds like you guys are talking about torture materials!" Said Thalia.

With a wink Mor purred, "What makes you think they aren't?"

Sparing them from answering that question, Rhys, Cassian and Azriel walked in. None of them carrying any bags. "Where's your luggage?" Inquired Feyre. "We are planning on roughing it!" Replied Cassian. Feyre rolled her eyes.

Not soon after, Nesta, Elain, Amren and Lucien trotted into the room, and then Rhys drew some symbols on the floor. A portal appeared on the wall and holding hands they all stepped through.

On the other side, they were greeted with the comforting scent of pine and snow, and knew that they were in the right place. Before anyone could do much as move, a figure burst out of the snow, claws aiming straight for Thalia.
