Here we go! First chapter is a Modern Eren x Reader one-shot for you guys.

You groaned inwardly as you listened to your boss complaining about the quality of your work for the third time that day. "God damn... Why is he so pissy all the time?.." You said inside your head. That was when you heard him growl, and you looked at him.
"Why am I so pissy all the time?! Why are you such a shit worker all the time?!" He shouted at you.
Apparently, that thought wasn't in your head.
"Shit! I'm sorry..." You muttered, not meeting his eyes for fear of angering him even further.
He growled deeply at you. "Get out. You're fired, you dumb bitch." He said, glaring at you.
Your eyes widened. "What am I going to do without a job..?" You thought to yourself again, making sure that this one was in your head. He continued glaring. "I said get OUT!" He roared, shoving you towards the door roughly. You bit at your lip. "Fine." You said, taking your apron off and throwing it at him in a ball. You walked out quickly, moving down the street and looking down, trying not to cry out of worry. "Damn it..." You muttered to yourself, before looking up. There was an issue when you looked up.
You smacked into something hard and yelped, falling to the ground. "I'm sorry..." You mumbled, attempting to hide your eyes. You felt a hand lift up your chin, and a soft voice ask you, "Are you okay?"
You nodded and looked up at the male, only to meet beautiful green eyes. You stared for a minute, stuck in a daze, when you heard a snap and a, "Hello..?"
"Oh... Hi.. Sorry." You said, snapping back to reality. The male flashed you a small smile and reached a hand down, offering you help. You took his hand as he pulled you up. "I'm sorry I ran into you. I was looking at my phone..." He said, feeling for his phone in his pocket. When he realized it wasn't there, he looked behind him and saw his now broken phone, laying on the concrete. Your eyes widened, as he walked backwards a bit and picked it up with a sigh.
"I'm so sorry! I'll buy you a new one, if you want..." You offered
"No need." He said, smiling a bit and brushing the screen off. "I was looking to get a new one, anyways. So, thank you, I guess."
You nodded, laughing a bit. "In that case, you're very welcome...?" You looked at him curiously.
"Eren. My name's Eren."
"(Y/N)." You said with a smile. He flashed you a bright smile. "Nice name."
You laughed. "Thanks."
He nodded. "No problem. Now... What's going on with you? You look... Sad."
You sighed slightly. "Lost my job.. Probably won't be able to pay rent anymore, therefore, I'm left with... Nothing." You said, biting at your lip.
"Really..? Okay, that isn't right. I know we just met and all, however... Would you like to share my apartment with me..?"
You looked into his eyes. "R-Really?"
He nodded. "Of course." You smiled and nodded your head.
"I think... I think I'd like that."
He smiled and nodded. "Alright then." He said, beginning to walk towards the apartment that he rented.
You smiled to yourself, walking after him. "Maybe this won't be so bad.." You thought, before walking into the apartment.
