We decide it would be best to remain on the down low for a while. If we fuck everything up right away, it'll be easier to recover if no one else knows. Plus, I'm not entirely ready for the teasing to completely take over my life. And we especially know there's no reason for the viewers to know anything yet either.
When David posted the video of him getting into a fight, the internet went batshit. Impressed he would actually hit someone, confused because why the fuck did he hit him? Unimpressed, because who drinks once in four months and immediately starts throwing hands? David didn't provide much of an explanation at all really. He prefaces the clip with "Alright guys, so I don't recommend this to anyone," gesturing to his bruised face, "soo here's why I don't drink." Finishing it off with a laugh, of course.
He did end up adding subtitles to the conversation just before. Zane and Heath were describing a party they want to throw, with the most ridiculous add-ons possible. A mechanical bull, a cake that bursts into flames, "then I come out with my flame thrower" David adds, and so on. David didn't edit the fight clip at all, playing it straight through.
Every single comment, tweet, tumblr post, everything is asking and speculating why he would do that. This, obviously, makes me nervous. What if we can't avoid it any longer and we tell the truth? We tell the whole world I was taken advantage of? I certainly hope not.
It doesn't help that on top of all that, they're also starting to notice things about me and Dave. I've been in the vlogs more often for longer amounts of time. I'm also nearly always right by his side. Which is funny because I make a deliberate effort to stay away from him most of the time but it just so happens the clips he includes with me end up being the times when I'm there.
Plus he's flirting with me a lot.
"Would you hit Natalie with your car for a million dollars?" Jeff asked.
"Are you kidding? She's worth way more than a million dollars."

"David, I have to know what you have planned for when you propose to Natalie?" Erin asked, giggling with Carly.
"Well first, dinner, obviously. Somewhere nice but not too nice. Take her for a ride in my Tesla and just-" He broke into laughter with everyone else, but gave a small nod in my direction accompanied with his tongue-over-teeth smile.

Everyone was starting to notice. I wasn't really avoiding the teasing I was worried about. We have been together for a month and I guess we're not very good actors. As soon as everyone leaves, we're all over each other. I've never had sex this often with any boyfriend ever. And I'm not usually overly cuddling or feel the need to constantly be in each other's laps but that's just how it is now. The cat was bound to come flying out of the bag.
"Ok Jason, I'm super tired and I think I'm going to get some sleep." David says, letting out a big yawn.
"You? Really? It's only 11pm?"
"I actually woke up early today!"
"So why didn't you answer my text until noon?"
"Because I didn't want to." David laughed.
"Hey, if you want alone time with Natalie that's all you have to say." Jason laughs as he stands up. When neither me or Dave laugh or respond Jason gasps. "You do want alone time with Natalie!" He exclaims, pointing a finger at David.
