After Jake had dropped Naya off she sat in front of the phone for a long time. It's been happening more often than not. The urge to call Bella. It feels that in a way she's betraying Jake if she did. She hurt the both of them, tossing them aside all for the Cullen. Bella had apologized, but it wasn't quite enough.  Maybe it was the fact that nothing felt resolved, and that maybe Naya and Jake felt used.

It's only when Jaci closes the door behind her does Naya snap out of her thoughts. Naya jumps, turning to see her mom with a raised eyebrow.

"How's it going Na? Waiting for Jake to call?" she teases whilst taking off her boots.

Naya slumps back into her chair. "No. Was trying to get the urge, or forget the urge to call Bella."

Jaci stills, not expecting to hear that Naya has found some sort of peace with the situation. "Oh? Did something happen?"

"I guess I've just been thinking about it a lot."

Nodding, Jaci moves to sit next to Naya at the table. "I think it's brave of you to want to patch things over. Especially when your hearts are still healing, both yours and Jacob's."

"I think I should give her a call." Naya picks up the phone, Jaci smiles and goes to stand up.

"I'll give you some privacy then." she suggests before moving to her room.

Naya starts to dial the number to the Swan residence, still knowing it off by heart. After three rings Charlie answers.

"Hello?" Naya smiles at the sound of his voice, it was good to hear him. An ease into the conversation.

"Hey Charlie, it's Naya."

Charlie sputters for a second before he answers. "Hey kid! What can I do ya for?"

"Well, I was wondering if Bella was around?" Naya cringes at how her voice sounds.

"Sure, lemme grab her."

Naya hears him call for her, and silence before an all too familiar voice rings through the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Bells."

There's a pause. Naya bites at her lip, hoping that Bella won't just hang up on her and tell her off. Though that never really was her style.

"Naya. How are you? Is everything okay?" Naya leans back in her chair, a small smile on her face.

"Yeah, no everything's okay. I'm okay. Are you okay?" Both of them sound like concerned mothers, who's child just fell off their bike for the first time.

Bella sighs. "Yeah, I'm okay. It's really good to hear your voice. How's um, how's Jake?"

"Um," Naya pauses, not wanting to unload all of Jacob's feelings onto Bella. Especially since she contributes to a part of them. "Jake's okay. We're all okay I guess."
