MASK 4: FOLLOWED

Athira's POV.

After the thing that I've told Cullen yesterday which is "May nag dare ba sayo na kulitin ako? Pwes, kung meron lubayan mo na ako dahil di moko maloloko." thing he's been avoiding me lately. Well, that's kind a good for me atleast ngayon wala ng sumisira ng araw ko diba?

We're going to have our P.E class today so that's why I'm here in the Girl's locker room para makapagbihis at pagkatapos ko magbihis lumabas na rin ako para pumunta sa covered court ng school namin hanggang sa may umepal

"Hey, can I talk to you?" I just stared at her for a second and I was about to leave until she blocked my way

I just gave her the "get out of my way" look but it didn't work so that's the reason why I talked

"I don't want to talk to you. Now, get out of my way." After I said this words to her she burst out into laughter

"What if I don't want to? I heard you have this phobia on being stared or looked at by others kaya nag susuot ka ng face mask with an ear loop so that you could move freely. Ano kayang mangyayare once na kun--" she didn't finished the thing she's going to say because she quickly removed my face mask

"Kunin ko yan?" After she said this she gave me a devilish look

Shit, here it comes panic started to come out on my body and my heart beats so fast nahihirapan na rin ako huminga natatakot ako.

All the memories that I am trying to forget it's coming back. The person that I've killed, The way my father criticized me, the way they are judging me, calling me a scaredy cat, telling me that I should've been born that I should've died

What if they're also going to judge me? what if they're also going to criticize me? What should I do? What if they are also going to put me in shame?

I started to feel my body sweating and shaking

"P-Please g-give it back." I told her this while my voice is trembling

"Uhh how about I'll give this back to you later. Bye!" She told me this with a devilish smile and she was about to leave until I heard a man's voice who tried to stop her

"Renei, give that back to her. Don't make me take that mask to you. You know what I can do."

"Why would I? Why can't you see my worth, Cullen? Tapos itong babaeng to grabe ka kung maging clingy habang siya tinutulak ka lang palayo. Cullen, please. Matagal na akong naghihintay sayo simula nung kayo pa ni Mina. Anong bang ayaw mo sakiin? just tell me. I'll change."  After she said this Cullen shouted

"Stop with this nonsense, I don't like everything that is connected to you! Give that back to her or else--" he didn't finished what he was about to say because she already cut him out

"Or else, you'll kill me? If I can't have you then I'll make sure that no one can." After she said this words she ran together with my mask

Shit, I'm starting to feel nauseousness.
M-my mask, p-please give it back. I'm begging you

"Athira!" Shouted by Cullen and he quickly went to me and tied his handkerchief on my mouth and helped me to stand up

Nahihilo ako

"Are you okay? Argh, what am I thinking? Come, I'll take you to the clinic." At inalayan niya ako papunta sa clinic

Fast Forward.

After the nurse told me that I should be more careful next time and let me drink the medicine that will calm me down because once my phobia will be triggered it will worsen out and the nurse also gave me a mask to cover my face up

I went out to the clinic and there I saw Cullen, thanks to him I'm already okay

"Athira, are you already okay?" I just nodded at him and answered him

"Thank you for helping me out a while ago and letting me uh- borrow this." Sabay abot ko sa panyo niya

If it weren't for him di ko na alam kung anong mangyayare sakiin

"I'm glad to help you. *smile*" I just stared at him for a second and leave

"Hey, where are you going?" I didn't mind answering him and I started finding that shit

Renei, so that's her name? I don't know what I did wrong to her so that she'll do this shit to me. I don't even know who the hell she is.

And when I already saw her I quickly went to her and punched her face using all my force

Ano satingin niya tapos na kami? No, I'm already called as a scaredy cat on the past and I don't want it to happen again

After I punched her I pulled her hair and I kicked her private area to make it more brutal and that made her yelped for help and I was about to punch her again until someone stopped me and it turns out it was the guy who sat on my chair on the first day of school

He pulled me away from Renei and tried to punch me but I avoided it at sinuntok ko siya and after that I lower my body down and kicked his both feet and when he fell down I punched him using my elbow and pulled his hair and bumped it to the floor as hard as I can

To be honest, I hate doing things like this but if you force me I'll do everything to make you suffer like this.

And I was about to stand up but Renei pulled my hair

Is that what she all got? *smirk*

When she's busy pulling my hair I twisted her arms and that's the reason she shouted because of pain and when I already twisted her arms at nung kaharap ko na siya I bumped my forehead to hers and that's the reason why she fell down and I kicked her as hard as I can and I was about to attack her again but Cullen shouted and that made everyone stopped

"Stop this fucking nonsense now!"

Why are they this scared to this Cullen anyway? Ano ba talaga siya?

"Stop with this nonsense, I don't like everything that is connected to you! Give that back to her or else--"

"Or else, you'll kill me? If I can't have you then I'll make sure that no one can."

Is he a mafia?

"I don't want this to happen again, stay away from Athira or all of you will pay for it. Let's go, Athira." After he told me this he pulled me out of this place

What the?! Is he also a mafia who kills innocent people? Is he also like my father?

"Let me go, Cullen." I told him this using a blank face but still he didn't listened to me

"I said let me go!" After I shouted he have nothing to do but to let me go

"Hey, I'm sorry." I didn't mind talking to him and I was about to leave until he talked

"Why do you hate me too much? ano bang nagawa ko sayo para ganituhin moko? If there is then I'm sorry. Now please, can we just be-- friends?"
