Thalassophobia is the fear of huge bodies of water. Have you ever wondered why you never went at least 10 feet into the water at the beach? Well, you might have this fear.When you see the ocean, do you suddenly get shivers or feel really uncomfortable? That's because you have the phobia.
Thalassophobia also contains an unknown object in the dark ocean. When you look at statues that are found in the ocean, do you suddenly feel nervous or scared?
It's pretty normal for people to have the fear, it's quite alright! I also have the fear but I get it over with.
Thalassophobia is mostly about dark waters. When you see underwater photos with no flashlight and with this phobia, you will feel uncomfortable and very nervous and you might shiver.
If you go on a boat and look down to the water, you can start to feel horrible and want to throw up. Well, that's seasick dummy!
Anyways, it's okay to admit that you have this fear! Just let me know!
