FLASHBACK

the ten-year-old prince was playing with his older brother. everyone loved them because they were so pure and innocent. Prince Jungkook loves his brother dearly. He thought of him as his best friend. His brother was the only friend he had.

"Prince Jung-hyun! It's time for you to study" one of the maids said.

"b-but can't he play with me a bit more longer?" Prince Jungkook asked.

"I'm quite sorry, Prince Jungkook, but Prince Jung-hyun has to" the maid answered. Prince Jung-hyun walks towards his brother, giving him a kiss on the forehead.

"I'll be back and then we can play as many games as you want, Kook" he smiled. Prince Jungkook nodded happily. The maid and the older prince both walked inside the castle.

Tears were rolling down Prince Jungkook's cheeks as he sees his older brother getting buried. His father was trying to stay strong. He now has one son and he's the only family member left. The King was told that the maid that took Prince Jung-Hyun inside was a witch. She cast a spell that ended his life.

Since then, the King has been killing all magic people, trying to find the one who killed his son. It was sad for everyone in the kingdom. Their future king was killed and now Prince Jungkook will take the throne. He didn't want to be king. He didn't want the responsibilities. He just wanted to live a peaceful life and have a family of his own.

It's been a few weeks since the king has been killing people to find the killer. Prince Jungkook has not stepped foot out of the castle. As now the only son of King Jeon, he must be protected by all costs. The King made sure that his son had guards with him all of the time.

Prince Jungkook was in his room, reading books since he's now the future king. The prince heard his door knocking. "Prince Jungkook, your father will like to see you," a human maid said. He got up from the bed and headed to his father's office. He walks inside to see his father with a boy. The boy was taller than him. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. The boy had bruises all over his body. He had a bloody lip and a black eye.

"Son, this is Kim Seokjin. He is now our new wizard. I had him make you something special" The king said. Prince Jungkook gulped in fear since he's never been so close to a magical person before. The King looked at Jin, telling him to give his son the potion. Jin looked around and saw the guard with their swords. Jin handed the young prince the potion.

"Father, I-"

"Drink it Jungkook. This will make you stronger. No spell and potion will work on you if you take this. We can get rid of all of those magical people who made us suffer. Don't you want revenge for your brother's death?" the king asked. Of course, he did. He wanted them to suffer. Because of them, he can't leave the castle. He'll be known as the prince stuck in his castle. He looks down at the blue potion. Jin was staring that the young prince, biting his bottom lip.

"Take the wizard to the cells" The king demanded as he watches his son drink the potion. The guards grabbed Jin harshly and took him down to the cells. The King smiles as he sees the prince finish the bottle.

"Father, why was that boy all bruised up?"Prince Jungkook asked.

"Well son, he didn't want to help me. So I forced him too. See, you don't get everything that you want useless you use fear. Make your people love you and those magical people fear you. Jung-hyun and your mother will be so proud of you, Jungkook"
