"My King, today is the death punishment of Kang Eunha," one of the guards said to their King, making him smile. The girl was caught in the forest doing witchcraft by a guard. And so, she will be killed today in the village. "Good. Have a carriage ready. My queen and I will like to attend" the king said. The guard nodded and walked out of the room.
King Jungkook sat down on his throne. The door opens to reveal (Y/N) walking in. "I was told to come here," she said. He nodded and signal her to come closer. She walks closer to him and once she was, he grabbed her hand, making her sit on his lap. "You look so beautiful, (Y/N)" He said as he caresses her cheek. She didn't say anything because she was shocked by what the king did after.
He places his lips onto hers. The king's heart was beating so fast. He felt sparks when his lips touched hers. King Jungkook now was sure that he wants her. Before he could do anything else, they were interrupted by the guard. "Your highness the carriage is ready" the king pulled away and smiles at (Y/N). "shall we go?" he asked.

(Y/N) was nervous that people will look at her weirdly for being with the King. He notices that she was looking down at her fingers. "Don't be nervous. My people won't judge you. They know what's wrong and what's right" she heard the King say. She looks up to see him staring at her. The carriage then stopped. (Y/N) heard the crowd screaming and yelling horrible things. The carriage door opens and King Jungkook gets off first to help her afterward.
Her heart dropped when she saw the sight. A teenage girl tied a wood log as a man was pouring gasoline on her. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she cries for help. (Y/N) jumps when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turns around to see King Jungkook. He offers her his hand but she doesn't take it and walks away.
"Burn the witch! Burn her!" the villagers yell. The girl cries that she's innocent and she was. (Y/N) knew she's human. A man with a piece of wood on fire walks towards the girl. he threw the piece with the other, causing a huge fire around the girl. She cries and cries as the villagers chant.
The King enjoyed the view. This is what the girl deserves for not telling him who this Jimin guy is. A smile appeared on his face when he notices how close the fire was close to her, but that smile disappears when he sees his queen running towards the girl. The man grabbed her harshly and pushes her away. "leave her alone! she's human!" (Y/N) said but the man pushed her.
King Jungkook stood up when he saw the man push his queen. He watches the man yell at her to go back, but she didn't listen making her get slap by the man. Now he was furious and wants the man dead. "how do you know she's human?" a villager asked.
"I-"
"You can't even tell us! Are you perhaps a witch as well?"
"If she said the girl is human then she is. Now quickly untie her" all eyes went on the King who was behind her.
"But my King, she is-"
"She is your future queen. I don't like the way you treated her so instead of the girl being put to death, you are" King Jungkook said looking at the man who slapped his queen.
"Your majesty, I didn't know-"
"I don't care if you didn't. Can't you see by the way she is dressing that she is higher than you."
