Diggy's POV

I slide on my Jordan's and watch Jessica finish her makeup and slide on her heels.

While I watch her, I don't feel how I used to. My heart is beating its normal pace, I can see clearly. I'm not in love with her. Yeah, she's pretty and all, but she's just changed so much. She's so snappy and bitchy, and always thinks I'm cheating on her.

That's why at this party we're going to, I'm hoping I can slide away and mingle to find someone else.

"Ready?" She smiles.

"Yeah, let's go." I say getting up.

Her smile quickly fades.

"Well?" She quickly snaps.

"Well, what?" I say confused.

"Aren't you going to tell me I look cute?" She snaps.

"Well, uh." I stutter.

"Shut up. Let's just go." She says stomping out to the driveway.

I exhale heavily and jog to the car.

We drive up the street to the house party my friend Trevor's throwing.

We get out and head straight in.

People stand with there red Solo cups, fist pumping to the music. Jessica grabs my hand and drags me to the dance floor.

She starts dancing and I smile fakely, dancing along with her.

"I'm going to get a drink and talk to Cassie over there." She says walkin off.

I nod, and she walks away.

I quickly make my way around. So far I see either girls with other guys or girls who aren't my type.

I walk to the kitchen a grab a bottle of water since I'm driving home.

I lower into the fridge to grab it when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Can you grab me one?" A voice asks.

I grab a second one and turn around.

"Yeah sure-" I say.

I pause.

It was a short girl with pink heels, white jeans and a pink crop top, her hair in a long curled ponytail, big brown eyes and pink lips. She smiled.

I had a loss for words.

She slid it from my hand.

"Thanks?" She said laughing.

"Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that I-I've never seen a girl as gorgeous as you, baby." I stutter.

"Oh, really? I sware. There are so many guys begging in here." She says walking off.

I grab her arm.

"Woah woah. Baby, babe I'm not one of those guys. But I will be honest. I have a girlfriend." I say.

"Oh... Well I'm not tryna be your side hoe either." She says trying to walk off again.

"No! Can you hear me out? My girl's here, but she's been a real bitch lately an I'm gonna end it. So that's why I was trying to get to know you better so when we split, I know who to find." I say grabbing her waist.

"C'mon." She says pulling me to the dance floor.

We danced together and she was a great dancer. Suddenly Trevor grabbed the microphone, stopping the music.

"Let's slow it down!" He says.

A slow song turns on.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and I held her close. She lied her head on my shoulder.
