Today is my high school reunion, and to say that I'm nervous, that would be an understatement, I'm so freaking scared.

We broke up a few years ago when I went to Juilliard, and he went to some different college, he said he didn't want to be in the way of me chasing my dreams, and just like that, we were over.
It was a hard breakup, but deep down I know we could pull through, it's just something about effort.
I shake the thought away as I glance down at my fit.

I pace around my room gathering my stuff when my phone went off.
"Hello?" I answer as I kept looking around in my room.
"Nini!" Kourtney's familiar voice rang through the phone, I immediately stop looking what I was looking for and focus on this conversation with Kourt.
"Oh my gosh Kourtney! I haven't talked with you for so long" I squeal through the phone, acting like a high schooler.
"Yeah I can't believe you haven't change your number" she said and I let out an laugh.
"Yeah you never know when old friends would call you" I said as I shrug, but of course she couldn't see.
"Alright, I just wanna know are you coming to the reunion tonight?" She asks.
"Oh yeah" I quickly gave her an answer.
"Perfect, cause all of us girls are meeting at Denny's before going to East High, so I was just wondering, do you want to join?" She asks.
Oh god, I haven't been to Denny's for so long, the memories are already coming back to me.
"I would love to!" I squeal through the phone.
"Awesome, I'll see you in a bit" she said before we both hung up.
I then quickly called up Carlos.
"What's up Nin's" he said through the phone.
"Are you going to Denny's to meet with the theater girls later?" I ask him as I pace around my room.
"Yeah, why?" He asks.
"Great I just thought you wouldn't be invited" I let out a sigh of relief.
"Are you stupid, even if I'm not invited I still have my own ways to get invited" he said as I can hear the sarcastic laugh that came out of his mouth.
"Alrighty then" I said.
"I'll come pick you up in 5, you better get ready by then, and if I don't like your outfit I'm making you change, alright bye!" He had already hung up on me before I can speak.
