Chapter 2

The Wedding

Today is the day. It's my wedding day. Or should I say Talia's wedding day. I laughed at that thought.

It's early in the morning and the wedding will be held around 4 or 5 pm. I'm in my room with Natalia and Nanay Amanda. We're rehearsing and going through with the plan.

"Fuck! I can't believe I'm doing this." Talia said while she was watching the wedding dress on the mannequin.

"Come on Talia don't tell me you're chickening out! And don't you dare cuss while we're executing the plan. We will be busted because of that mouth of yours."  She just rolled her eyes at me.

To be honest, I was not fully sure that Talia would really agree to this I mean she's not the type to settle down you know what I mean. But I'm really glad that she did though that proves that she really loves her sister! And I'm thankful for that. Someday Talia I would really make it up to you.

I looked at Nanay Amanda who was busy packing some of my clothes. I only plan to bring one small duffel bag and one handbag. I don't want to be super suspicious. Nanay Amanda will wrap the duffel bag using a garbage plastic and place it outside the gates where the trashes are thrown then I would get them once it's time to execute the plan.

"Princess Isabella here are the papers that you've asked from Victoria and here's your ticket." Nanay said. I really love Tori! Once I said that it's urgent and it's about me running away she said that she would do it as fast as she can! And here it is now!

I grabbed them and put it inside my handbag. I saw some papers, and of course the mighty fake passport. I opened the passport and there I saw my new identity,

Tati Francine Torre.

What a name Victoria. I chuckled.

"I think I'm ready. Tati you should wear my clothes now and wear these contacts. I already told mom that "I" can't attend your wedding because I have a very important matter to attend to. And of course they wouldn't care about you today because you're Talia." She sadly smiled at me. She sighed and then said, "I miss Griffin."

Princess Aurora Natalia Louise was never close to our parents. I admit that my father and mother never really gave her much attention. I never knew why. Natalia is the youngest, I'm the middle child and Griffin is the oldest. Griffin is the Crown Prince of Asteria. He is the closest to Natalia but sadly he isn't here. He's busy travelling to God knows where.

If Griffin was here, me and Natalia would be damn dead for planning this thing.

"Don't say that Talia. Mom and Dad cares about you as much as they care about me. I also miss Griffin but admit it if he was here we would be dead." I joked to lighten up the mood.

"You're crazy." She giggled.

After a few hours, it's time to execute the plan. I'm wearing Talia's clothes. A simple white fitted shirt, black leather jacket and black fitted pants matched with a cap. We're in my room right now and it's already 2 pm, my flight is 3 pm so I really have to go now.

I looked at Talia who's wearing my supposed wedding dress. She looks so perfect. She's wearing an off-shoulder 3/4 sleeves A-line tulle wedding dress with intriquite designs and beautiful beadings. If this was her real wedding day I would be crying right now but it's not her wedding day in fact it's mine. My wedding. That felt so wrong.

I just hope that whatever will happen here, Talia and Nanay Amanda will be okay. I just hope Griffin will be home sooner so that Mom and Dad's attention will be diverted. Griffin wouldn't let this happen he always have a solution to everything.

"You look gorgeous Talia. It's like it's made for you." I smiled at her genuinely. It's true! It's like the dress was made for her and not for me!

"But it's not Tati. You should go now before I change my mind." I hugged her one last time. I don't know when I will see Talia again but I know someday we can see each other when everything is already fine.

"Thank you Talia. This means so much to me. I will leave all that will happen here to you. I promise that I will make it up to you Natalia."

"Don't make me cry! We will see each other again. Now go! Before mom and dad comes here they're still in the function room talking to your "almost" in-laws." She laughed.

"I will go now. Don't forget your veil. Thank you so much Talia! Don't forget to say my goodbye to Nanay Amanda."

I wore my sunglasses and went out. Nanay Amanda is not here to say goodbye because she's busy distracting my parents and some of the guards.

I was outside the gates and finding my duffel bag among the trashes when I saw a man standing in our garden. He looked at me intently and then I looked away, I was scared that I would get busted. I found my duffel bag and hurriedly walk away. Who was that? What a charming, handsome man. I'm sure the lady he would get married to someday will be very lucky.

It's already 2:35 pm and I'm at the airport. I'm so nervous and really glad that I got to escape thanks to all the help I got from Talia, Tori and of course Nanay Amanda.

I found a trashcan and throw my phone there and also my contact lenses. I need to start anew. Throwing my phone is the first thing I need to do.

The lady announcer from the airport said that it's time to board the plane. I grabbed my duffel bag and handbag and started to walk away.

It's time to leave. Goodbye Asteria. I will be back someday. For now, I need to run away.
