Tavros's POV
As he scrolled through the information, he clicked on "Gamzee"'s facebook profile page. There appeared to be a picture on the screen of a face covered in face paint, painted in the style of a clown's make up. The paint surrounded a large, sharp-toothed grin and deep indigo eyes.
Tavros's eyes were wide with shock at the realizations that came flooding into his head. He scrolled through the images on the page and stopped on one of them. The picture had him in it, with "Gamzee" sitting on his lap. He couldn't believe anything he saw.
While he scrolled back up to the top, he saw a status someone posted on the page.
Karkat Vantas
Dude where the fuck are you? I'm so worried about you right now. Please answer.
Tavros continued to read the comments.
Well, last I saw him he was in an alleyway. I was walking home from the store and saw him in there. Probably with his "buddies." I saw one of them today and he looked worried and spooked, but who's to tell what's going on in someone's head when someone is so high.
He was immediately becoming frightened by what has happened to "Gamzee." He didn't know why he was so worried about someone he didn't even know.
But I did know him... he thought to himself, feeling desperate to reclaim the memories he must have forgotten. I knew him quite well, I'm sure...
Looking back at the status, he decided to comment on it. If I knew "Gamzee," I must have known "Karkat."
Tavros: Hey, what is going on? I need to know some things. Can we meet up someplace?
Karkat answered quickly.
Karkat: Yeah, how about the coffee shop on the corner of Brick Street.
Tavros: That works.
He closed the page and then turned his wheelchair around in the direction of the coffee shop. Wheeling away quickly, he felt the worry building inside him. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to make sense of the situation he has come to be a part of.
Karkat's POV:
Karkat fumbled through the pile of stuff on the kitchen counter and grabbed his car keys. Making his way to his car outside, he got in quickly and drove away towards the coffee shop.
I haven't talked to Tavros since before the fucking car accident. I hope he's doing okay. It's strange... Gamzee didn't even talk to me about Tavros after he got out of the hospital. I'm supposed to be his moirail. He's supposed to come to me with these troubles... But he fucking didn't!
He scrunched his face up in a mixture of worry, frustration, and desperation for Gamzee to be okay. Pulling into the parking lot, he speedily got out of his car and stepped inside the coffee shop. Karkat looked around in search of the paralyzed troll. He found him sitting at a table in the corner of the shop.
"Hey Tavros," he said, sitting down in front of him.
"Oh, uh, hey, um, Karkat."
"So, where should I begin?"
