I LOOKED up, at the sky. The sun was almost setting, which meant I had to quicken my pace or else the dark would get to me. I looked behind to find the fog or as some call it the dark or, the night. The Gods were always welcome to the dark, including the fact that they established the dark and the light. Who knew what would happen to me if the dark caught up with me, the creatures of the dark would probably get out of the hiding place and I was not in the mood to fight, so I turned my back on the darkness and chose the light. I was not going to kill any being today, well, not yet. It was rare for any normal person to make it through the darkness.

But I was no ordinary person, I'm telling you.

I quickened my pace, held my face up to meet the suns gentle embrace. I was walking towards the sun hoping to reach it one day but only the Gods lived up there. It must have been easier for them, not needing to run or fight just dine and chatter. Most Gods were insensitive, let's also include the fact that my father, a God just couldn't keep his pants on and just stick to his wives, and not go for an innocent human.

I always knew my existence was a condemnation. When my father found out that my mother was expecting, he was filled with resentment. Serves the desirous God. When I was born my father tried to kill me but my mother sacrificed her self for me, the only thing I have that reminds me of her are the dull memories as a child, this is the reason I still live and didn't choose to end this life. I couldn't put her sacrifice to waste. He deserves death!

When I said most Gods where desirous brats I speak with experience. They would spread their greed as a tree spread its roots, straight to suck the joy and warmth from others with there root tip, but to no avail, their tree would still decay!!

The God of weather wouldn't let me dwell in peace without a storm. Screw the bastard!

The only Gods I know of with kindness in their hearts are the Moon Goddess, the God of message/time and the mighty Eagle or as others say the God of the Sky.

The Moon Goddess would always be first in the list because she out of the three knew what suffering was. When my mother died she took her soul instead of giving it to Hades and made sure she got a better new life. She was the first to show such kindness in my life. She understood the feeling and pain of losing a loved one.

Having lost her mate she didn't want anyone going through the same thing so she gave everyone a second chance mate including those voracious Gods in hope there mates would change them but they would get other wives or mistresses, the only person who changed by the slightest because of there mate was Hades. The Moon Goddess had a child with her late mate and the child was mated to a normal human. Their children were strong and could shift into wolves. They kept expanding in numbers, making packs and more packs.

I felt the sun heat my hair.

I looked up again to find that the sun was right above me. I'm was a demigoddess so I had the stamina to walk that fast. I turned around to find that the fog was nowhere to be seen and looked forward and found some traces of smoke on the Northeast side. I pulled my hoodie up and started walking towards the smoke with less speed than earlier.

So where was I...

The God of Message and Time is quite a wise fellow. That would probably be the reason why he was so careful with what he did because that would affect the future. He already found his mate but in a different time and different place that is probably the reason it's so hard to find him, he was mostly with his mate. Well, at least I got to meet him, well more of him saving my life when I was far to close to the dark. I was 10 when my mother died and when that happened I was left alone to fend for my self and I travelled too far into the fog.....long story short he saved me.

The Mighty Eagle or as liked to be called The God of the Sky. From the name given to him, I'm very sure you can tell that he is a silent God who is quite observant and could change into a creature of the sky. He found his mate, taking the fact that he's quiet and she is shy, it's a perfect fit.

Mates were what everyone wanted except me, from all I had seen and gone through I knew I could never settle down with anyone.

I saw a small structure of buildings from afar. It was a neat little town. That would be good enough for shelter through the dark.

With all that said its time to introduce my self.

I am Dirani.
