The whole canteen went silent. Infront of me stood an angry mark. He was making his way to the table behind us. I quickly stood up and held his arm. "Mark, just let it be" "No". I let his arm go and he walked to the dreamies table.
"Don't you think you guys are going a bit to far with all of this!?" Mark said again slamming his fist on the table. "Mark do you even know who y/n really is?" Chenle said. "I should be asking you guys that question".
"Mark get this into your head, she is using us!" Renjun said. "And who told you that?"
"Eunha". Mark let out a sarcastic laugh. I looked at eunha and she was just smirking at me. "She even punched me in the face!" She said with fake tears in her eyes. Haechan quickly hugged her.
"You guys are unbelievable" i said softly. But all of them heard it. "Y/n you're unbelievable" jaemin said "why don't you show the whole school who you really are!" Jeno said. Tears started to escape my eyes. "THAT'S ENOUGH" the guys looked shocked, mark grabbed his phone. "You guys think your Eunha is so innocent, then watch this"
Mark threw the phone on the table. The security footage started playing. Eunha's facial expression changed from a smirk to fear. She knew there was no way back now. All the guys looked at it with their full attention. The whole canteen was still silent.
The video ended, and none of them said anything. The just looked at each other with shocked faces. "I hope you guys realize that you made a big mistake" mark picked his phone up and grabbed my arm, about to walk away, but turned back around to say one more thing. "Oh and don't think Y/n wants to be friends anymore"
He pulled me out of the canteen, leaving the boys there without being able to say anything. "These boys i swear i'll-" i grabbed his face with both of my hands. "Hey, hey, calm down" he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I just- it hurts me that they're treating you like this" he looked at me in the eyes.
He looked down and said softly "you don't deserve it". I didn't know what to say, so i just wrapped my arms around his torso. We stood there for some time in each others arms. "From now on, i won't let anything like that happen to you" i just smiled.
THE BOYS POV
They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the video. How could they've been so stupid? Realisation kicked in when mark pulled you away with him. They all looked at Eunha who was sitting there just smiling nervously.
"You know, i can exp-". "You don't get to explain anything!" Jeno said. "What kind of a person are you!?" Jaemin yelled at her face. "I-i just" "you just what!? Huh!?want to use us!?" Haechan yelled. "I just couldn't stand seeing y/n with you guys!"
"I knew there was something sketchy about you" jisung said, putting his head down, thinking about how much he hurt you. "Well you guys are the ones who treated her poorly" she said smirking. "I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!" Jaemin said letting all his anger out.
"You're not getting away with this" jeno said looking threatening in her eyes. All the boys stood up and walked out of the canteen.
YOUR POV
Me and mark sat outside on a bench. Just talking and eating the sandwiches johnny made. "Honestly, i would've wanted to see the guys lashing out at eunha" i giggled. "Her face when she realised what the video was about, was priceless.
"Hey mark?" "Yes" "thank you for standing up for me, i really appreciate that" "the guys deserved it, someone had to tell them the truth" i smiled and looked into his eyes. Those eyes, they have something in them. I couldn't look away from them. We slowly started leaning forward
Until our faces were only an inch away from each other.
