"Hello Susaku-san."
I blinked a few times, am I imagining things? I shake my head and rub my eyes. No, It's definitely the moon dorm president standing before me.
"D-Dorm president Kuran!" I stutter as I see the man before me. I must have fallen asleep. It's completely dark, expect of one light source from the hanging lamp in the room.
"Hello Susaku-san. You are aware that it's way passed curfew?"
His face is rather close to mine, I can feel his breath hit my skin as he speaks. My cheeks start to heat up, he's to close!
"I-Ehm...Yes." I try to find the right words to say, but I couldn't get myself to say more than just a simple yes.
I cough, trying to hide away my uncomfortableness as I notice the intense look the vampire is giving me. His eyes follow mine as I try to break our gaze. I rub my arms as I start to feel a bit cold due to the temperature drop of the night.
Kuran let out a soft laugh and breaks his gaze from mine. He raises himself off the ground soundlessly and looks down at me with his maroon eyes. I couldn't help but raise my brow. Never before have I met the man, but here he is standing before me, with his hand reached out for me to grab. Hikari and Aiko would be so jealous if they know I was here with the moon dorm president.
He implies for me to grab his hand so he can pull me up, and so I let him.
"Thanks..." I say after he lifted me from the ground. Kuran gives me a slight nod and let go of my hand.
Nervously I rub my arm, "Yuki said I could stay and finish my work. She helped me of course, not wanting me to be alone in the school building while the night class had their lessons." I find myself explaining.
"But once we were finished, Yuki had to go back to patrolling and I was about to clean up and leave but I fell asleep..."
"I am aware you know about the truth of the night class. I expect you to understand why following the curfew is important."
I tilt away my head, ashamed of myself for having to be scolded by the moon dorm president.
"I'm sorry." I say, fidgeting with the bottom of my apron.
Suddenly I could feel a cold hand being placed just below my chin. Kaname raises my chin up and closes the distance we had between us. I gulp as I watch his eyes turn a blazing red, locking my gaze into his. My heart starts to race within my rib cage, my hands started to get sweaty and cold as Kuran moves his hand away from my chin down my collarbone and eventually up to the back of my neck.
His touch feels like ice against my bare skin. But his eyes are like a bloody fire burning down upon me. He looks at me without any emotion showing, but I surely dont match his expression. I'm scared he'll hurt me if I move.
I closed my eyes as his face comes closer to mine. His other hand found his way to my waist, I start to feel dizzy.
"Ick!" I squeal as I feel his breath hit my cheek. This is it, he's going to bite me!
But before I could yell at him to get away from me, he suddenly lets go of me. "Huh?"
I open my eyes and see that he had removed the apron of my body, handing it out toward me.
"It is dangerous staying out at night. You refused to become a part of the disciplinary comity so you are aware you're not strong enough to defend yourself against a vampire."
I grab the apron away from him and fold it neatly in my arms as I watch him speak. He is looking down at me. He doesn't appear to be angry at me, but then again it's hard to tell from his expressionless face.
